"A champion of Western values on a continent that has lost confidence in them"

Austrian pol who spoke negatively of Muhammad loses Parliamentary immunity

Photo: Susanne Winter
"The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)." -- Sahih Bukhari, volume 7, book 62, number 88
More Eurabian madness: an Austrian politician who made an accurate statement about Muhammad's marriage to Aisha, as shown by the hadith above, is facing prosecution for it. When someone can get put on trial for telling the truth, the society has already tipped over into totalitarian thought control, and the totalitarian fascists in question are the European EU elites.

Bosnia: Two jihadists "disturbed by the church bell," try to enter church

In addition, they...are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays..." -- 'Umdat al-Salik o11.5
"Bosnia: Radical Muslims arrested for entering church," from
AKI, November 24 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
Sarajevo, 24 Nov. (AKI) – Bosnian police arrested two Muslims allegedly linked to a radical 'Wahabi' sect after they sought access to a Catholic church in Sarajevo on Sunday. Inspector Dragan Miokovic confirmed on Monday two men were detained by police.
Church of Trinity vicar Ivan Ravlic said the two men knocked on the door of the church late Saturday and asked to see inside the building.
"My answer was that there was no need for them to look at the church at that late hour and that was when they explained they were disturbed by the church bell," Ravlic said....

UNMIK’s Responsibility Yet to be Established

Vladan Batić, Minister of Justice in the Government of Zoran Đinđić, used a year at his post to fully inform and submit all the evidence to UNMIK (UN Mission in Kosovo) about the crimes committed by the KLA commanders, war criminals Hashim Thaci, Ramush Haradinaj and Agim Ceku, calling on UN officials to remove butchers from the leading posts in NATO-occupied Kosovo and Metohija province.
In his correspondence with the UNMIK leaders, Batić listed crimes the savage Kosovo Albanian troika had committed against the Serbs in Croatia and in Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija. He requested that Thaci, Haradinaj and Ceku are banned from all political activities until they are tried for the crimes they have committed.
But no amount of evidence was sufficient for UNMIK to open investigation into the Albanian crimes reaching crescendo under the NATO auspices — monstrous murders, rape, deportations and torching the houses — to punish the perpetrators against whom there was solid, concrete evidence.
Instead of the punishment, KLA commanders Thaci, Haradinaj and Ceku were rotated replacing each other at the leading political functions, while Serbian victims were left to oblivion by those who came to their southern province promising to protect them and by the international community at large.
“In Kosovo and Metohija, terrorism is the cruel reality. At the top of the pyramid of the terrorists are Thaci, Ceku and Haradinaj,” Batić wrote to UNMIK.

Croat State Genocide Supported by Vatican, Germany and US

Smilja Avramov: If the Court governs itself by the law, Serbia’s chances to prove Croat state genocide are at full hundred percent.
“Croatia has absolutely no chance of proving the alleged genocide it wants to pin Serbia with. It was indeed Croatia that has committed a horrific genocide against the Serbs under the auspices of Vatican, Germany and the United States. If the Court is going to govern itself exclusively by the law, Serbia has an ironclad case against Croatia,” Smilja Avramov, an International Law expert, told Belgrade daily Glas Javnosti.

She emphasized that Serbia should file a lawsuit, rather than a counter lawsuit against Croatia.

“This is an ideal opportunity to clearly prove the continuity of genocide [by the Croat state], of varying intensity, since 1941 until today”, Professor Avramov said.

German police carry out raids searching for jihadist collaborators

The suspects are still at large. Eurabia Alert. "German raids on suspected terror cell supporters," from the Associated Press, November 22:
BERLIN – Officials say German police carried out raids in three states searching for suspected supporters of a terror cell whose plans to attack U.S. targets in Germany were foiled last year.
Federal prosecutors' spokesman Frank Wallenta says police made no arrests during Thursday's raids on the residences of several people suspected of acquiring detonators for three alleged terror plotters.
The suspected plotters are now on trial. They are alleged to have operated as a German cell of the radical Islamic Jihad Union.
Wallenta declined to say Saturday where the raids had been carried out. Germany's Bild daily says they were in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Lower Saxony.

Now tell me, what would you do in the age of nationalism--which came relatively late to the Middle East--if your national group already had almost two dozen states on over six million square miles of territory (conquered mostly from other national groups), wanted to create at least one more, but another people’s sole, tiny, resurrected nation state stood in the way?

Serbia to File Counter Lawsuit Against Croatia for Genocide

Serbia will file a lawsuit against Croatia for ethnic cleansing, war crimes and genocide the Croat state had committed against its Serbian population during the latest civil war on the territory of former Yugoslavia, but also during the Second World War, at the time Croatia was a fascist state, Serbia’s Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić announced late on Tuesday.
“Unfortunately, Croatia did not respond adequately to the hand of reconciliation Serbia repeatedly offered, with a desire to leave the past behind and turn to our common European future. They have refused to face the fact that 250,000 Serbs were ethnically cleansed from the territory of Croatia [during the "Operation Storm"]. This time around, they will have to do so in front of the Court of Justice. A lawsuit will now be filed against Croatia in order for the truth to finally be determined,” the minister told RTS.

Slobodan Antonić: NGO-Left and Antifa Models

At the Saturday’s gathering of the “antifascists” in Belgrade, even according to the reports by the friendly media, there was no more than several hundred of participants. The most visible were representatives of the nominally Left parties: Nenad Čanak (League of Social Democrats), Žarko Korać (Social Democratic Union), Srđan Milivojević (Democratic Party, a member of the Socialist International), etc. There were also representatives of the gay community, with their rainbow-colored flag and speakers. The third category of participants were young anarchists, or rather, the anarcho-syndicalists.
All of them were guarded by the 2,500 police officers — three policemen per one demonstrator. Thus, our “anarchists” and “leftists” have enjoyed the security a police baton had provided them with.

Did Muhammad exist? Muslim prof isn't so sure, outrage brewing

Sven.jpg
Kalisch: an increasingly rare breed, an honest university academic

The picture of the life of Muhammad that one gets from Islamic sources is based on some very, very weak reeds from a historical standpoint. (I hope to be writing about this problem and its implications in much greater detail in the future.) But the historical criticism of the Jewish and Christian Scriptures that academics have engaged in for centuries has never been undertaken in an Islamic context, for reasons that should be obvious. The Qur’an is a book never to be doubted, never to be questioned: when one Islamic scholar, Suliman Bashear, taught his students at An-Najah National University in Nablus that the Qur’an and Islam were the products of historical development rather than being delivered in perfect form to Muhammad, his students threw him out of the window of his classroom. Christoph Luxenberg, who has done groundbreaking work in this area, publishes under a pseudonym.

Of course, in this the stakes are very high for Muslims. There is no Liberal Islam or Reform Islam that distills moral precepts out of material that is not considered to be historically true and thus has no literal application. Maybe it could be created, at least by a faction, if it became widely known and accepted that the authoritative story of Muhammad and the Qur'an rests on such weak historical foundations, but we are very, very far from that today.

And that is what makes Muhammad Sven Kalisch all the more remarkable. Saying this could get him fired. It could get him killed. It could, and probably already has, interfered with his personal outlook on life. But this is the result of his researches, and he is sticking to it. Whether he is right or wrong, and there is a great deal to support his view, he is at very least uncompromisingly honest.

How refreshing it is to see an honest man, and that even rarer bird, an honest academic, and that rarity of rarities, an honest professor of Islamic studies.

Continued Albanian Attacks on Kosovo Serbs

Kosovo province Serbs were yesterday once again exposed to “incidents” in which “unknown persons” discharged rounds of ammunition from the automatic weapons on the territory where Serbian population remains in majority.
Following the usual scenario, this time in the Brđani settlement in Northern Mitrovica, “a number of rounds were fired from the automatic weapons” by the “unknown perpetrators”. As reported by the northern Kosovska Mitrovica police station commander Milija Milošević, nobody was hurt.
Leader of the Association of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija province Marko Jakšić said that Albanians are systematically spreading fear in Serb-populated Northern Mitrovica, with the single aim to bully and intimidate the remaining Kosovo Serbs, forcing them flee the province.

Laying the wreaths at the monument to King Alexander I Karadjordjević in Paris and at the Serbian military cemetery in the town of Thiais near Paris, on November 8, marked the commemoration of Serbian soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in the First World War.
King Alexander I Karadjordjević was assassinated 74 years ago, on October 9, 1934, in Marseille, by the Croat Nazis — Ustashi, portending the rise of fascism and the upcoming horrors of the WWII. The French had built a grandiose monument in the Boulogne Forest, Paris, both to Alexander I and his father, King Peter Karadjordjević.

Lessons of Kristallnacht

By Deborah Weiss
FrontPageMagazine.com
November 9, 2008 marked the 70th anniversary of Kristallnacht. It was a night of terror which constituted the commencement of the Holocaust. It was a horrible night, but it was merely a foreshadow of the doom yet to come. This anniversary should not merely commemorate the horrible events that took place in 1938. Rather, it should serve as a warning that we must learn the lessons of history lest we repeat our mistakes; we must take our enemies’ words seriously, and we must not be complacent in the face of evil.

Bombed Because of an Adjective

Former Italian Foreign Minister Lamberto Dini recently admitted that NATO aggression against Serbia (March 24 — June 10, 1999) had nothing to do with the alleged humanitarian concerns — NATO bombed Serbia for three months because the United States and Britain wanted to have a military base on its territory.

Dini said Serbian officials would have signed the ultimatum issued by the West at the conference in Rambouillet, if it had excluded only one word.

- The problem was only one adjective. It would have been sufficient for Serbia if the document excluded the word "military" and left only the "international presence" in Kosovo, but the U.S. insisted on NATO getting an opportunity to enter the province - Dini explained.

You can read more on this story over at Svetlana’s brilliant new anti-war website De(Construct).net

Next time you read a commentator in the MSM talk about NATO’s ‘humanitarian’ intervention in Kosovo, just email them the link.

It’s time to set the ‘official’ record straight.

POINT OF CLARIFICATION: The country which NATO illegally bombed in 1999 was of course called the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and not Serbia, which did not exist as a sovereign state at that time. But I've kept 'Serbia' in the account above because it was the word used by the Lamberto Dini.

Fitzgerald: A perfect example of the mentality one can see all over the Western world

Arie Oostlander is the EU Rapporteur for Turkey.
Here's what he said in an interview given on 18 November 2005 in Arnhem, about his work as that EU Rapporteur for Turkey:
"My approach was, strict, fair, and open. There are very humane consequences to Turkish EU membership, if Turkey is really able to change into a constitutional state. And I really believe that people can change. It is very Christian to believe that, and very un-Christian not to believe that. …
Turkish nationalism, the education of judges and the police, the violation of individual human rights; - all this has to change in Turkey. When Turks told me they were afraid to push the army to the barracks because this vacuum might lead to fundamentalist Muslims taking over, I said, 'if you Turks are afraid of Islam, what then should I tell my constituency in the Netherlands? And if you are right, then there is indeed a structural problem between Turkey and the EU."
Though very short, this statement manages to tell you a great deal about Arie Oostlander, EU Rapporteur for Turkey, about his hopes and dreams, his illusions and schemes, all based on his self-assured schoolgirlish belief that, as he puts it so well, "I really believe that people can change. It is very Christian to believe that, and very un-Christian not to believe that."

Arrested Kosovo Albanian Harvested Organs from Kidnapped Serbs?

According to the Belgrade media reports, the investigation of the illegal kidney transplantation in Priština had led to an arrest of an Albanian urologist Lufti Dervishi, suspected of harvesting the organs for sale from Kosovo Serbs kidnapped by the terrorist KLA (UCK) in the immediate aftermath of NATO bombardment and occupation of southern Serbian Kosovo and Metohija province.
One witness in the investigation into the trafficking of organs of Serb prisoners from Kosovo in 1998, mentioned Dervishi’s name in regards to the case, according to Blic.
“The witness told Serbian war crimes prosecutors that he saw Doctor Lufti Dervishi at locations where it was suspected that organs had been extracted from civilian prisoners and sold later,” Blic’s source stated.

Dutch 10-12 year-olds learn in school: Wilders is Hitler, Wilders has no respect for people that look different

Shameful. A press release from the Dutch Freedom Party:

Dutch youths will learn next week at school that Geert Wilders is to be compared to Adolf Hitler. They will receive nationally-distributed class material that states “Geert Wilders’ film Fitna and Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf are based upon one-sided points-of-view. Fortunately there are also other books and plays that -on the contrary- show respect for people with other ideas or faiths or that look different.”

The pupils will receive the class material highlighting the Day of Respect, a multiculturalist project. The project is funded by three departments of the national government: Education, Justice and Housing. The school material has a national distribution among 10-to-12 year olds. The pupils will receive the newspaper at school.

Geert Wilders: “The day of respect is a hate fest against the Freedom Party. According to the organization everybody deserves ‘respect’, but of course, if you stand for freedom and oppose the islamisation of the West you don’t deserve any respect at all. Then the government will tell children you have a problem with ‘people that look different’. They play the racism card.”

“We are extremely angry the Dutch Department of Education is involved in this project. We demand from education minister Ronald Plasterk to immediate withdraw any cooperation. Children go to school to learn not to be indoctrinated.”

The Freedom Party wants the class material to be discussed in Parliament this week.

Račak Terrorists All Killed in Combat

“Members of the terrorist KLA [UCK] killed in Račak on January 15, 1999, were not executed. They were killed by the firearms alone, while they were running or were on the move, in the trenches or beside. There were no traces of violent injuries on their bodies either before or after death, and no traces of use of any other weapons, tools or objects on them. Soldiers from other countries, or instructors, were among the killed in Račak.

NY Times Comrade Simons’ Tough Year

By Edward S. Herman,
Poor Marlise: Her Old Allies Are Now Attacking the Tribunal and Even Portraying the Serbs as Victims, ZNet

Marlise Simons, the New York Times’s main reporter on the Milosevic trial and International Criminal Trial for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), has had a difficult year. Perhaps most painful was the disclosure that in 1999 the Kosovo Albanian KLA sent as many as 300 captive Serbs to Albanian to be killed and their internal organs “harvested” for sale abroad, a matter barely mentioned in the New York Times (see below). I was sorely tempted to write to Marlise Simons and offer her my sympathies: “Marlise, if only the villains in this case were Serbs, what a fine front page article you could have had here!”
She and her paper did have a windfall with the arrest of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and his transfer to the Hague for trial in July (18-21), which was exploited to a maximum with nine bylined Simons articles, multi-day front page coverage, a stream of pictures of grieving (or capture-celebrating) victim family members, and the usual complete absence of any critical context on either Bosnian history or the nature and record of the ICTY.
