Afghan asylum seeker 'used BENEFITS to fly home to set up himself up as a drug dealer'

POLICE in Austria have arrested an Afghani asylum seeker they say used his welfare benefits to fly back to his homeland to set up a business dealing drugs.With taxpayers' cash in his pocket he flew back to Kabul from Vienna several times to administer his scheme. Originally settled in Wels, he moved to the capital to take advantage of better benefits totalling nearly £850 a month. Prosecutor's office spokesman Christian Hubmer confirmed the man and three other Afghans had been arrested.The drugs operation in their homeland was said to be "quite large." It is understood he was caught importing several kilos of cannabis into Austria.
