On Wednesday between 10 pm and 11 pm, a 26-year-old man appeared at the Hard police station to report an unusual experience. "He had a visible injury to his ear," police spokesman Rainer Fitz told the Vorarlberger Nachrichten newspaper. The man from the town of Hard stated that he had been on the Oberen Achdammstraße in Hard towards Rheinstraße in his car at about 10.10 pm. It must have been an annoying, sorry tour. The 26-year-old told the officials that he had been constantly slowed down by a Mercedes in front of him. Finally, the young man was fed up, overtook the annoying car and also braked it to confront the unknown Mercedes driver. Both drivers had stopped and then got out, said the 26-year-old. At first, the unknown driver asked him nicely whether he was a Muslim. The driver from Hard didn't think he understood correctly at first, because immediately after this question the courtesy suddenly gave way to an unexpected aggression: The Mercedes driver threw himself at the 26-year-old and bit him in the ear. For no reason, as the victim claims to the police. The bite attack lasted about 20 seconds. The case hasn't been solved yet. Police Inspectorate Hard therefore asks any witnesses to report. The unknown attacker is described by the victim as approximately 165 cm tall and about 35 years old. He had a three-day beard and spoke Turkish accent. His silver-coloured Mercedes is from an older model year.
