Germany: Refugee from Libya cuts the face of his victim

Filderstadt police station is investigating a 19-year-old Libyan refugee for dangerous bodily injury. On Tuesday evening, around 6.45 pm, he met a Syrian national of 18 years of age, who was known to him for a short time. According to the investigations so far probably due to differences of opinion to the respective chances to receive asylum in Germany it came to an argument, in the course of which the 19-year old refugee is said to have pulled out a knife-like object and thereby taught the 18-year old a deep cut in the face. While the victim later had to be taken to a clinic for outpatient treatment by the rescue service, his opponent fled immediately after the attack. The man, who is already known to the police, could not yet be caught in the course of the investigations carried out so far. To clarify details of the dispute, the Filderstadt police station is asking for witness information, which can be obtained by calling 0711/70913.
