On Sunday, 29th of July, at 6.25 a.m., in front of a bakery in Bleckeder Landstraße in the town of Lüneburg, there was an assault between two Sudanese men aged 38 and 22 and two German men aged 27 and 31. The background to the dispute has not yet been conclusively clarified, especially since about half a dozen other people were more or less directly involved. According to previous investigations, the Sudanese man hit the German man massively with a paving stone when he was already on the ground. The 27-year-old German suffered severe facial injuries. He's still in the hospital. The 31-year-old German was also injured in the dispute. However, he was able to leave the hospital on Sunday after receiving medical care. The two suspects were temporarily arrested on the morning of the incident. However, the 22-year-old has since been released home. At the request of the public prosecutor's office, however, the magistrate issued an arrest warrant against the 38-year-old for the seriousness of the crime.
