Germany: A Syrian attacks passers-by and policemen in Landau
Several witnesses reported an aggressive person in the Wilhelm-Wüst Street in Landau. The person would have taken his clothes off his body and would now threaten passers-by, screaming, with his upper body free. Forces of the Landau police inspectorate were able to meet a 19-year-old Syrian at the scene. When establishing his identity, he suddenly tried to hit the two police officers, but the blows could be fended off. The person was taken into custody and taken to a psychiatric hospital after completion of police operations. Nobody was injured during the action.
