The 18-year-old woman and her 23-year-old companion sat in a fast-food restaurant on Hardenberg square around midnight on Sunday night. There, the young woman was sexually insulted from within a group in Arabic. Understanding the language, she forbade the abuse. The argument escalated, the crowd threatened the couple.The two young people fled the restaurant in the direction of Wittenberg square. According to witnesses, the mob pursued them, attacked them near the Wittenberg square with chairs of a snack bar and bottles. A bottle hit the back of the head of the 18-year-old woman, who then sank unconscious to the ground. Her companion carried her into the backyard of a house on Ansbacher Street to protect her. Meanwhile the group of about 30 people had grown to an unmanageable aggressive crowd.That's when the police arrived, scattered the mob.Police forces were able to arrest three men (17, 23) nearby. While the young woman recognized a 23-year-old and the 17-year-old youth as suspects, another witness was able to identify the other 23-year-old arrested as part of the group. All three were dismissed after finding their personal details and now have to answer for serious breach of the peace and insult. The 18-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.
