US: To Better Protect Muslims, AG Holder Set To Ban 'Religious Profiling'

By Thomas Rose

If one is looking for reasons why Washington has become so caustic, divisive and bitter, look no further than retiring Attorney General Eric Holder. If reports first published by the Los Angeles Times are correct, the always controversial Holder, aged 63, will soon announce a new and permanent ban on so-called ‘religious profiling’ designed to better protect those suspected of jihadist or Islamist activities from federal surveillance.
At the very moment the American state, local and federal law enforcement are trying to get a handle on a spate of Islamist-inspired beheadings and the discovery that Islamic State terror cells are active in at least three major US cities-- LA, Boston, and Minneapolis-- the US attorney general seems prepared to make it even harder for US law enforcement to crack down against jihadist recruiters and terrorist plots.
Despite the rise of the Islamic State's terrorist army that proudly boasts of its US citizen-fighters, as well as growing evidence that domestic jihadist extremism is far more prevalent inside the United States than previously thought, the always controversial Holder appears undeterred in his quest to ban federal agents from trying to prevent domestic Islamist terrorism by investigating hubs of suspected jihadist activities. If the ban on ‘religious profiling’ is enforced, federal agents will no longer be able to conduct surveillance inside even the most radical of US mosques, where nearly all recent US based jihadists have been recruited, trained and dispatched.
The LA Times even reports that Holder’s ban will no longer even include “an exemption for national security investigations." Without pre-existing, admissible evidence that ongoing criminal activity is occurring, federal agents will no longer be permitted to conduct any undercover surveillance in any clearly identified Islamic institution. If enacted, such a policy would represent the starkest reversal yet to bi-partisan post 9/11 changes that permitted law enforcement agencies like the FBI greater ability to monitor suspected Islamist outfits, including mosques.
The FBI claims that those standards have enabled them to disrupt or scuttle at least 42 planned Islamist attacks against the US homeland adopted since 2001.
How extending greater legal protections to those suspected of jihadist plots against US citizens will help protect law abiding citizens from those plots remains to be seen. The connections between Islamic State operatives, recent domestic terrorist acts, and several radical US mosques are undeniable. The recent Muslim convert in Oklahoma who murdered and decapitated a 54-year-old grandmother was radicalized in a mosque run by the very same people who run a Boston mosque that served as headquarters for ISIS’s US social media campaign.
Terrorism authority Steve Emerson told IBD this could be just the tip of the ISIS-ice berg. "There are tens of thousands of others like him lurking in the United States who haven't done this but are jihadists just waiting to do it," Emerson, who runs the New York-based Investigative Project for Terrorism, says the Islamic State is actually pre-selecting new US based recruits based upon their state willingness to conduct suicide/terrorist operations against innocents inside the US.
Of course, since Attorney General Holder had previously ordered the Justice Department and the FBI to scrub all its training manuals and support documentation to insure words like “jihad” and "Islamic terrorism" do not appear, it is difficult to predict how such directives will even be adequately conveyed to US law enforcement personnel.
Had such prohibitions against even considering the religious beliefs or associations of suspected jihadist elements been in effect, many recent Federal indictments of terrorists could never have been obtained, since nearly ever single one of them contained evidence demonstrating their connections with and radicalizations inside US mosques. Nearly every single defendant so indicted has confessed that their motivations were religiously based upon their interpretation of Islam and its commands to attack non-believers.
The same Eric Holder now considering increased protections for those suspected of jihadist activities authorized domestic illegal surveillance actions, including wiretapping, against reporters at the Associated Press and sought to prosecute Fox News' James Rosen under, of all things, the Espionage Act.
As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the United Nations General Assembly yesterday, “You know the famous American saying that all politics is local? Well, for militant Islamists, all politics is global, because their ultimate goal is to dominate the world." If Holder has his way and can prohibit US law enforcement from investigating domestic militants Islamists in places where militants Islamists plot and plan, American jihadists will be able to pursue that ultimate goal of global dominance with greater freedom and security than ever before.

Jewish Stars of ‘Star Trek’ Shill for VW: Volkswagen tries to cleanse its Nazi-linked past.

The German automaker Volkswagen has recruited the two Jewish stars of the original “Star Trek” series to plug its new e-Golf electric car in the United States in another attempt to rid itself of its stigma of having helped the Hitler regime. Many Jews boycott Volkswagen and other industries that cooperated with the Nazis. William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy apparently were tapped because the “Vulcan salute and the Volkswagen logo have so much in common,” the auto industry publication Auto Evolution reported. That salute, as any Jewish Trekkie worth his salt will know, is similar to a Jewish blessing sign – two hands forming the Hebrew letter Shin — that frequently appears on Jewish gravestones. Volkswagen donated more than a million dollars to an international youth center at Auschwitz last year, and in 2011 gave $1 million to the Anti-Defamation League.

German Social Democratic Party branch puts anti-Semitic posts on Facebook

A local chapter of Germany’s second largest party, the Social Democrats (SPD), posted anti-Semitic conspiracy theory entries on its Facebook page in Hagen, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia state. “Anti-Jewish agitation appeared on the Facebook page of SPD Hagen,” went the headline in a piece in regional paper WAZ on Sunday. The hardcore anti-Semitic statements allegedly came from Osman Demir, an SPD chapter committee member in the Wehringhausen neighborhood, and were on the Hagen branch’s Facebook page for a lengthy period and available to its 150 members. Under the headline “Incitement by the Zionist media and press and press powers in Germany," the post's author engaged in a rant about Jewish media reports shaping the February 2012 resignation of German president Christian Wulff, WAZ reported. Wulff resigned facing allegations of corruption relating to his prior service as prime minister of Lower Saxony. He was acquitted of the allegations at a trial last February. The postings on the SPD Hagen Facebook page prompted a prominent veteran SPD member to resign. “It is bad when a person posts anti-Jewish agitation on the Internet. When a person does that on the page of a political party, it is worse. When the article remains on the page for weeks, it is even worse,” Martin Schlegel said about the direction of his former party. Schlegel, who served as the director of the city’s statistics and research division, pulled the plug on his membership because of the anti-Semitic postings. Timo Schisanowski, the head of SPD Hagen, appeared to defend the postings. “We did not want to face the accusation that we closed down a discussion,” he said. He added that he “was not happy about the statements” on the Facebook page. Nesrin Öcal, the administrator of the website, was removed and there may be a disciplinary process against Demir, WAZ reported. The SPD leadership appeared to show little appetite to confront the anti-Jewish outbursts. Robin Baranski, the business manager of the SPD chapter, has declined to schedule meetings to address the matter. Schlegel and his wife, Erika, have been members of the SPD for a combined 85 years. The party’s failure to confront hatred of Jews left them dissatisfied with its direction. “A party that gives space to disgusting anti-Jewish slogans, and with difficulty removes the agitation from the Facebook page, cannot be trusted,” they said in an email. “A party that refuses to stop the author of this article can no longer be in our party,” the Schlegels added. Anti-Israel controversies have rocked the SPD over the past few months. The national SPD, which has designated Fatah as its sister party, is struggling with its commitment to Israel’s security. Bundestag deputy Rainer Arnold, the party’s top defense spokesman, earlier this month compared Israel to Hamas.

Algeria Identifies Suspects in Frenchman's Beheading

The Algerian government has identified the suspects in the beheading of Frenchman Hervé Gourdel, Algerian Justice Minister Tayeb Louh said Tuesday, according to the International Business Times.
Soldiers of the Caliphate, or Jund al-Khilafa, claimed responsibility for the beheading, which was recorded and distributed last week.
Gourdel was kidnapped while hiking southeast of Algiers on September 14. Soldiers of the Caliphate announced it had captured Gourdel on Monday and gave France 24 hours to call off airstrikes against the “Islamic State” (IS or ISIS) in Iraq, to which they pledged allegiance, or they would execute Gourdel.
French President Francois Hollande refused and said France "will give in to no blackmail, no pressure, no ultimatum."
Gourdel's beheading was similar to the deaths of U.S. journalists Steven Sotloff and James Foley by the Islamic State. The Islamic State group also claimed those beheadings were in retaliation for American strikes against its fighters in Iraq.
The group is also holding British journalist John Cantlie, and on Monday released a third video of him, in which he delivers a scripted propaganda attack against U.S. President Barack Obama's strategy in Iraq and Syria.

Muslim Groups Pressure Canadian Police To Abandon Terms 'Islamic Extremism,' 'Jihad' When Evaluating Terror

By Jordan Schachtel

Some of Canada’s nationwide Islamic organizations have come together to release a ‘counter terror’ handbook that urges intelligence and law enforcement officials to stop using the terms “Islamist terrorism,” “Islamic extremism,” and “jihad,” when officers of the law. The 37-page handbook, which was released on Monday, was supposedly designed in order to prevent further radicalization of Canada’s Muslim community, according to the groups involved in its creation.
Shahina Siddiqui, president of the Islamic Social Services Association, said about her efforts to institute the handbook into law enforcement strategy:
We want a made-in-Canada solution. Our biggest defence that we have against this is our multiculturalism, which Europe and the United States doesn’t have — Canada does. Canada has to be an example on how we can reverse this, because if you have a youth who feels accepted for who he is ... we can prevent this from getting to a crisis where we lose our youth.
Siddiqui then insinuated that “Islam is on attack from within.” She stated, “This is an attack we don’t take lightly, so we are gathering forces, we are gathering our resources to address this.. (the handbook) is timely, but it is also very urgent right now.”
Canada’s Federal Police, known as the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), has thus far rejected the pressure from Islamic groups to change their intelligence collection and law enforcement strategy.
“The RCMP hasn’t issued any guidance or guidelines to other departments, nor has it agreed not to use terms such as ‘Islamist terrorism, ‘Islamic extremism,’ or jihad,” said police spokesman Sgt. Greg Cox.
In mid September, Breitbart News reported on the surge of Canadian Muslims linking up with Islamic radical groups in Iraq and Syria. According to a report by Public Safety Canada, at least 130 Canadians have left their homeland in order to wage jihad in the Middle East.
In 2012, the FBI removed hundreds of pages of law enforcement training documents because it was thought to be too offensive to Islam.

German Broadcaster Compares Foreign IDF Recruits With Islamic State Terrorists

By Ben Cohen

Is there a difference between young American Jews who join the Israel Defense Forces and young Muslims who flock to Iraq and Syria to join the Islamic State terrorist organization?
Apparently, according to the German broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, the answer is “no.”
A piece published earlier today on the DW website, entitled “US recruits join foreign forces to find acceptance,” notes that 100 American Jews joined the IDF during the recent war in Gaza, and goes on to claim that these recruits may find themselves indicted on war crimes charges. Observing that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday “used the UN stage to launch a blistering attack on those alleging that his forces committed war crimes during the war against Hamas,” the article asserts that “those accusations – if proven – could also affect foreign soldiers.”
The article contains an interview with an anonymous Israeli soldier who is identified as “an American Israeli from a Muslim family.” The soldier is said to have told DW that “an investigation into potential Israeli war crimes is a fair assessment as long as Hamas is investigated too and other independent authorities conduct investigations.” Later on, the anonymous soldier says that “Jihadis… remind me of Zionists going to Israel to serve.”
DW then adds that Americans joining a foreign military “now accused of war crimes comes at a time when Americans are also in the spotlight for joining extremist groups in Syria and Iraq.” Making no mention of the atrocities committed by the Islamic State against Christians, Yazidis, and other minorities, as well as its gruesome practice of beheading its enemies, the article quotes an American writer, Michael Muhammed Knight, who toyed with the idea of joining a jihadi organization before opting not to do so. “Maybe the Islamic State is trying to deliver justice as they see it,” Knight is quoted as saying.
The closing paragraph of the article makes no distinction between the armed forces of Israel, a member state of the United Nations, and Islamic State. “When former Israeli Americans return to the US after their military service, they will be treated much differently than those who wish to return, tired of fighting with extremist groups,” the article says. “The former will be welcomed and commended and accepted by family and friends, while the latter will likely be arrested, imprisoned and interrogated with little chance of returning to an American way of life.”

Bristolian Schoolgirl Heads to Syria to Marry Jihadi; Family Pleads “Please Come Home”

By Donna Rachel Edmunds

A 15 year old girl from Bristol is missing from her family home, and is believed to have travelled to Istanbul in Turkey with another teenage girl. It is thought that the pair plan to travel on to Syria to wed jihadi fighters, although it is not known how the girls became radicalised. Yusra Hussien, a grade-A student who dreamed of becoming a dentist, was last seen by her parents leaving her family home in the Easton area of the city for school last Wednesday morning. When she wasn’t at school when her father came to pick her up in the afternoon, her parents reported her missing, the Daily Mail has reported.
Her mother Safiya, a primary school dinner lady, and father Mohammed, a youth worker, both from Somalia, are said to be devastated and “really confused” at her disappearance. They have said that they have “no idea” where she is, and pleaded “Please come back, we just want you to be safe”. Yusra has three brothers and a baby sister, all of whom were, like Yusra, born in the UK and are British citizens.
Their local councillor Hibaq Jama delivered a statement to the media on their behalf, saying “You're not in any trouble, we just want you to be safe.  Come home as soon as possible.”
Speaking on her own behalf she added “It is really important to understand that at the heart of it is a grieving mother and a grieving father who, as yet, have no idea where their 15-year-old daughter is.
“What we know about [Yusra] is that she is an incredibly bright, incredibly articulate, popular, gifted young lady who was admired by, and very much looked up to, by her peers.
“She was doing very well in school, she is in year 11 and has started that final year of her education. She was very aspirational, wanting to go on and become a dentist, so it has come as a complete shock to the parents.
“This has also come as a shock to the community who are now understandably asking questions about the fact that if she, as a 15-year-old girl from this community - very articulate, very well accomplished - has disappeared then there are understandably concerns for others as well.”
Ujima, a Bristol community radio station today reported that Yusra has travelled from Bristol to Heathrow by bus. A spokesman for Scotland Yard has confirmed they believe that at Heathrow she met a 17 year old girl from Lambeth, South London, and that the two together flew to Istanbul, Turkey, with plans to go on to Syria.
Louisa Rolfe, assistant chief constable of Avon and Somerset Police, spoke to reporters, saying “Since she was reported missing by her parents, we've carried out extensive work to trace her footsteps from the time she left home to her arrival in Istanbul, Turkey.
“There are indications she may have been radicalised but at the moment our priority is to find her before she crosses the border to Syria and make sure she is safe.
“We must all be vigilant and ready to spot the signs of radicalisation. Often, young Muslims who go to Syria can be naive and don't recognise that they are being sucked into joining extremist groups.
“This is not about criminalising these young people, it's about preventing tragedies.”
Haras Rafiq, an outreach officer for the counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation, has told Good Morning Britain that in all likelihood the girls had left with romantic notions of becoming brides to Islamic fighters. He said “We suspect what's happened is that she met up with somebody here in London, she travelled from Bristol to London, so she already had this romantic notion.
“It's more than likely that she will actually go and become a jihadi bride. She at the age of 15 will marry somebody who she considers to be a holy warrior and that's how she will play a part in the jihad.”
The Daily Mail spoke to a number of her friends, who described her as “very religious”, “very intelligent”, and “a really nice girl”. None of them had noticed signs of her becoming radicalised.
A neighbour said of Safiya, Yusra’s mother “She is very nice - they are a very hard-working family and get on with everyone.” Another neighbour, Gloria Maloney who has lived on the street for 40 years said “It's a very nice family. The husband is always there for his kids - he is always taking them to the shops.”
As soon as she heard the news, Mrs Maloney went to comfort the family: “I gave the dad a hug. He said that he was still worried. He didn't speak much. I told him I would pray for her. The wife was crying. The family was in shock.”
Yusra and her travelling partner are following in the footsteps of around 50 young girls and women who are understood to have travelled to Iraq and Syria to support jihadi fighters. Together they make up ten percent of the 500 or so British people who have gone to support Islamic militants. Many of the women head for the Syrian city of Raqqa, where they are understood to be influential in the Al-Khanssaa brigade, a police force tasked with enforcing Sharia law in the city.
Home secretary Theresa May has promised to crack down on fighters returning to the UK, by introducing new measures to strip duel nationals of British citizenship and prosecute those who return. Speaking at a recent campaign launch, she said “I’m very clear that in relation to people who go to Syria and return to the UK with terrorist intent, then of course the government will take appropriate action.
“What we’ve seen in Syria is a terrible humanitarian tragedy… there will be people who will be travelling to Syria to give what they believe to be help. But the message from Syria is very clear: Syrians do not want people coming in to Syria.
“What the Families Matter campaign is doing, is saying to young people: think of the anguish you will create for your family if you go out to Syria, they don’t know where you are, you might get caught up in the fighting.
“If you want to help, there are better ways to help the people of Syria from here within the United Kingdom”.

Eurosceptic Tory Torch Bearer's Son Defects to UKIP, Will Stand for Parliament

The son of Conservative Party MP Sir Bill Cash has been revealed as a new UKIP spokesperson today, on the eve of David Cameron’s speech to the Conservative Party conference. Cash senior has been a Tory MP for 30 years, and is a high profile draw to eurosceptic causes and events on the British political right. His son’s elevation to Nigel Farage’s UK Independence Party is likely to cause further ructions in the Tory parliamentary party, and fuel the already rampant speculation over a major UKIP defection before the conference closes tomorrow.
William Cash Jr is the proprietor of Spears Magazine, an influential publication aimed at high net worth individuals, which raises the question as to whether his defection to UKIP will open up new revenue streams for the insurgent party.
Cash junior will take up the position of Heritage Spokesman for UKIP and is hoping to stand for the party in Warwickshire in the general election next year.
Nigel Farage, UKIP’s leader said: “I am delighted to be welcoming William to the party and am appointing him as our Heritage spokesman. William is already a consultant on National Heritage for the Government and various other organisations. He has vast experience in the field and will be a great addition to the team, working closely with Stuart Agnew on Countryside matters and Peter Whittle on Cultural affairs”.
Mr Cash said: “This decision has been a long time coming. I have been a passionate advocate of Britain’s successful heritage business but believe that it and the countryside have been badly let down by this Conservative led government.
"There is a critical need to get the policies right in relation to Green Belt, tourism, heritage and countryside planning.  This is especially the case with local economies in areas like the South-East and the West Midlands where tourism is critical to the regional economies.
"Taxation on repairs for historic buildings is invidious and is damaging a £6billion per year industry. It is cultural, historical and economic vandalism to allow this to continue.”
Cash senior is known as perhaps the most Eurosceptic of all Tories. His son's defection is already being commented upon at the Tory Conference.

Islamic State/ISIS Opens First Consulate in Islamist Turkey

By Daniel Greenfield

Al Qaeda has operated openly in Turkey for years. A top adviser of Erdogan, the country’s Islamist tyrant, had Al Qaeda links. ISIS openly operates in Turkey, its fighters travel through its cities and utilize its hospitals.
Why not open a consulate there? Qatar would be even more welcoming, even the Taliban have a consulate there, but Turkey is more convenient.
The so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) intends to inaugurate its first diplomatic mission in Istanbul in order to provide consular services for all who wish to join the extremist group in Iraq, reported Turkish daily Aydinlik as saying.
Abu-Omar Al-Tunisi, the ISIS de facto head of foreign relations issued a statement, saying that the Islamic Caliphate is determined to launch its first diplomatic mission in a friendly and Muslim country. He further noted that the ISIS hopes that the bilateral relations with Ankara will witness more developments under the aegis of newly-elected president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
ISIS also claims that its consulate in Istanbul will pay the hospital bills of all wounded Islamist militants who traveled to turkey to receive medical treatment.
CHP (Republican People’s Party) , a leading Turkish opposing party issued a communique condemning Turkish government decision to allow ISIS to open a legal diplomatic office  in Çankaya – the central and elegant metropolitan district of the city of Istanbul.
If this turns out to be true, Turkey should be expelled from NATO. And it goes without saying that it should be barred from the EU and its dual citizens should be expelled back to their homeland from Austria, Germany and other parts of Europe.
Their Caliph Erdogan, whom they cheered enthusiastically on his visit there, can cover their welfare instead of German taxpayers.

Former London Deputy Mayor Richard Barnes Defects to UKIP

By Donna Rachel Edmunds

Richard Barnes, the former right hand man to Mayor of London Boris Johnson, has become the latest high profile Conservative to defect to Ukip. Last night his former boss accused Ukip defectors of being the type to have sex with vacuum cleaners. This morning Mr Barnes declared that he was moving to Ukip because the other parties did not “speak the language of normal people,” the Evening Standard has reported. Mr Barnes was personally appointed Deputy Mayor of London by Johnson in 2008, becoming the first LGBT person to hold the post. He remained in place until he lost his seat to Labour in the 2012 elections.  When it was put to Mr Barnes that Ukip was a homophobic party as one Ukip councillor had blamed last winter’s floods on Prime Minister David Cameron’s gay marriage policy, he was dismissive, saying “I’ll stand my ground against any prat. They are in all the parties. I don’t think they become homophobic the moment they join Ukip.”
Mr Barnes explained that he was defecting because the Conservatives could not be trusted on Europe, because the government is failing to tackle immigration, and because the Westminster parties are out of touch with ordinary people.
On Cameron’s plans to renegotiate a treaty with the rest of the EU before 2017, Mr Barnes labelled the idea as “unrealistic”, saying “Do we really believe they can create a new settlement by 2017, with the agreement of all the member states. It’s just unrealistic. There has to be more clarity and it’s not there at the moment.” Instead he would like to see the UK pull out of the EU entirely and form a free trade agreement with the rest of Europe. His thinking on this is therefore in-line with Ukip policy, but at odds with his former leader David Cameron, who on the weekend reiterated his commitment to keeping the UK inside the EU.
On immigration he told the Standard “Our borders are massively porous. Immigration is a good idea, but it has to bring a benefit to our economic, social and cultural life. It cannot be to take advantage of the NHS or to exploit the benefits system. At the moment it’s a mess. We don’t count people in, or count them out. That would be a good place to start.”
He continued “There seems to be a detachment from ordinary people’s lives in the Westminster Village. The parties just don’t seem to relate and talk the language of normal people.”
The move is unlikely to win the support of Boris Johnson, who, whilst addressing a Conservative Rally last night titled How we win in 2015, said “The EU commission wants to ban vacuum cleaners on the grounds that they are too powerful. If you do not handle your vacuum cleaner correctly, you may end up inhaling the hamster – the budgerigar through the bars of the cage.
“And I have read that there are some people – probably the type who are thinking of defecting to UKIP – who present themselves at A&E with barely credible injuries sustained through vacuum cleaner abuse.”
The defection is the second high profile move from the Conservatives to Ukip, after Mark Reckless’s announcement at Ukip conference on Saturday that he too would be changing parties, resigning his seat and forcing a by-election in his constituency. He follows in the footsteps of Douglas Carswell, who is due to go to the polls in Clacton on October 9th after invoking the same plan. Both Members of Parliament said that they had had a damascene moment in which they realised that Cameron planned to secure just enough measures in a European renegotiation to persuade the people of Britain to vote to stay in the EU. Both men are committed to seeing the UK leave the EU.
Making his announcement, Mr Reckless said “It’s a decision I make from optimism. A decision that is born of belief that Britain can be better, of my knowledge of how the Westminster parties hold us back, but also of my belief in the fresh start UKIP offers.”

Anjem Choudary, in His Own Words

By Soeren Kern
"In the Quran it is not allowed for you to feel sorry for non-Muslims. I don't feel sorry for him." — Anjem Choudary.
"Eventually the whole world will be governed by Shari'ah & Muslims will have authority over China Russia USA etc This is the promise of Allah." — Anjem Choudary.
"Under the Koran the sale of alcohol is prohibited and if one were to also drink alcohol, that would be 40 lashes." — Anjem Choudary.
"We [Muslims] take the Jizya, which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar [non-Muslim]. They give us the money. You work, give us the money, Allahu Akhbar. We take the money." — Anjem Choudary.
The British Islamist firebrand Anjem Choudary has been released from police custody after he was arrested for allegedly being a member of a banned terrorist group.
Choudary and nine other radical Muslims were detained during dawn raids in London on September 25 as part of an ongoing Metropolitan Police investigation into Islamist-related terrorism.
Choudary—one of the most high-profile jihadists in the United Kingdom, and well known for his relentless resolve to implement Islamic Sharia law there—is a former spokesman of the Muslim extremist group, al-Muhajiroun (Arabic: The Emigrants).
Al-Muhajiroun—which repeatedly celebrated the terrorist attacks on the United States in September 2001—was banned under the UK Terrorism Act 2000, in January 2010.
Since then, al-Muhajiroun has repeatedly reinvented itself under an array of successor aliases. These include, among others: Islam4UK, Call to Submission, Islamic Path, Islamic Dawa Association, London School of Sharia, Muslims Against Crusades and Need4Khalifah, all of which have also been proscribed.
A study published by the London-based Henry Jackson Society in September 2014 found that one in five terrorists convicted in Britain over more than a decade have had links to al-Muhajiroun.
An investigative report published by the British anti-fascist group Hope Not Hate in November 2013 concluded that al-Muhajiroun was "the single biggest gateway to terrorism in recent British history."
Al-Muhajiroun—founded by Choudary and the exiled preacher, Omar Bakri Mohammed—is said to have also played a major role in radicalizing Michael Adebolajo, who was found guilty of murdering (and attempting to decapitate) the British soldier Lee Rigby outside London's Woolwich Barracks in May 2013.
Choudary said Rigby would "burn in hellfire" as a non-Muslim, and also praised Adebolajo as a "martyr." He said:
"Allah said very clearly in the Koran 'Don't feel sorry for the non-Muslims.'
"So as an adult non-Muslim, whether he is part of the Army or not part of the Army, if he dies in a state of disbelief then he is going to go to the hellfire.
"That's what I believe so I'm not going to feel sorry for non-Muslims.
"We invite them to embrace the message of Islam. If they don't, then obviously if they die like that they're going to the hellfires."

Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary (right) praised one of the murderers of British solider Lee Rigby (left) as a "martyr" and said Rigby would "burn in hellfire" as a non-Muslim.

According to police, over the past several months, groups believed to be successors to al-Muhajiroun have been circulating material highly sympathetic to the jihadist group Islamic State [IS], which has declared that it wants to establish an Islamic theocracy in the Middle East, and has threatened to attack targets in Europe and North America.
British police said the nine men, aged between 22 and 51, were arrested on suspicion of being members of a proscribed organization and supporting a proscribed organization, contrary to Section 11 and 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000, and of encouraging terrorism, contrary to Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
After a day of questioning, Choudary and eight others were released on bail on September 26. The men have been ordered to return to police stations in central London in January. In the meantime, police say they will continue their investigation.
A close friend of Choudary, Trevor Brookes (aka Abu Izzadeen), remains in custody after being charged with breaching his obligations under the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, for allegedly failing to notify police that he had moved to a new address.
Choudary—whose bail-restrictions include a ban on foreign travel and public preaching—said his arrest was a "politically motivated" effort by the government to silence him on the eve of a Parliamentary vote on military intervention in Iraq.
On September 26, the House of Commons voted 524 to 43 to approve a request by British Prime Minister David Cameron to join the American-led coalition against the jihadist group Islamic State, albeit only in Iraq and not in Syria.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper minutes after he was released, Choudary said:
"I think that David Cameron has plunged Britain into a very bloody war, which will manifest itself on the streets of London. We saw it before with 7/7 [July 7, 2005 bombings in London], 9/11 [Sept 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S.], it's inevitable, if they are going to attack Muslims abroad.

"I'm not involved in any terrorism. I have and will continue to expose the British government for their foreign policy. I fight ideas with ideas."
Until now, Choudary, a lawyer by training, has managed to tread the fine legal line between the inflammatory rhetoric of Islamic supremacism and the right to free speech. He has never been convicted of any offense, presumably much to the frustration of British authorities.
Nor has Choudary expressed a fear of being imprisoned. "If they arrest me and put me in prison," he has said, "I will carry on in prison. I will radicalize everyone in prison."
Police say that Choudary has become far more brazen since the IS proclaimed the establishment of an Islamic Caliphate in Iraq and Syria in June 2014. Since then, they say, he has repeatedly crossed the legal threshold for criminal prosecution for encouraging terrorism, such as recently justifying the beheading of the American journalist, James Foley.
In an interview with the Washington, D.C.-based Clarion Project, Choudary said that the beheading of Foley by IS operatives is authorized under Sharia law because as a journalist, Foley attacked the IS. Choudary said:
"Muslims who abide by the Sharia and follow the jurisprudence do not make a distinction between civilians and army. This fellow [Foley] was not just a civilian of America. He was a journalist."
Separately, Choudary has insisted that he does not know the knifeman who decapitated Foley. "I'd recognize his voice if it was someone I knew," he said. But he refused to condemn the execution:
"There are circumstances in Sharia where there is capital punishment for crimes that have been committed. Now I do not know anything about these journalists, why they were there, whether they were spying or in fact part of the military. Often it turns out that people have other roles as well."
Choudary is, however, adamant that the United States is responsible for the murder of Foley:
"If you look at the death of James Foley, you only have to listen to the person who is executing him to know that the blame is the Americans' because of their own foreign policy. The fact is that decades of torture, cruelty and mass murder will have repercussions."
Choudary also said he feels no sympathy for another British hostage, Alan Henning, a volunteer aid worker marked as the next individual to be beheaded by the IS. Choudary said:
"In the Quran it is not allowed for you to feel sorry for non-Muslims. I don't feel sorry for him."
In an August interview with the UK-based Fubar Radio, Choudary admitted that pro-IS protesters in London were his students.
Radio host Jon Gaunt asked Choudary: "Are these students of yours... the ones handing out the leaflets?" Choudary responded: "Yes... I have known them for several years, they have attended many demonstrations... many lectures of mine. Very good chaps."
And in a Tweet sent hours before his arrest, Choudary condemned U.S. air strikes against the IS:
"The Islamic State could not wish for a better rallying call for Muslims worldwide to join them than for the USA to start bombing again."
Another Tweet stated:
"FACT: The war being waged by the US/UK & co is a war against Islam & Muslims. The objective is to take Muslims away from the Shari'ah (Islam)."
Yet another Tweet said:
"Eventually the whole world will be governed by Shari'ah & Muslims will have authority over China Russia USA etc This is the promise of Allah."
In September 2014, Choudary said that IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is "the caliph of all Muslims and the prince of the believers."
Choudary has also been insistent in his demands that Sharia law be enforced in the UK.
In December 2013, for instance, Choudary led a group of more than 60 Muslim protesters on a march through east London to demand that businesses stop selling alcohol:
"What we did is we posted a notice to the shop owners saying that under Sharia and under the Koran the sale of alcohol is prohibited and if one were to also drink alcohol, that would be 40 lashes.
"We were there to teach them that just because they are living among non-Muslims is no excuse because Sharia law will be implemented in Britain, and so they should be aware that just because it is not Sharia today, they can't just do whatever they like.
"There will be no more pubs, no more gambling houses, no more national lottery.
"All women would have to be covered up appropriately and wear the niqab or veil and so there will be no prostitution. By 2050, Britain will be a majority Muslim country.
"It will be the end of freedom of democracy and submission to God. We don't believe in democracy, as soon as they have authority, Muslims should implement Sharia. This is what we're trying to teach people."
Choudary said the group, known as the Shariah Project (which police say is a successor to al-Muhajiroun), would be arranging many more similar rallies in the future. "This is just the beginning," he promised.
Choudary, who is married and has four children, enjoys a comfortable lifestyle that is being paid for, year after year, by British taxpayers. In 2010, the newspaper The Sun reported that he takes home more than £25,000 ($40,000) a year in welfare benefits.
In February 2013, Choudary urged his followers to quit their jobs and claim unemployment benefits so that they could have more time to plot holy war against non-Muslims. He said Muslims are entitled to welfare payments because they are a form of jizya, a tax imposed on non-Muslims in countries run by Muslims, and a reminder that non-Muslims are permanently inferior and subservient to Muslims.
In a video, Choudary said:
"We [Muslims] take the Jizya, which is ours anyway. The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar [non-Muslim]. They give us the money. You work, give us the money, Allahu Akhbar. We take the money."
Choudary added: "Hopefully there's no one from the DSS [Department of Social Security] listening to this."
In a recent interview with the American news outlet, Fox News, Choudary warned that Westerners have no choice: "Sharia law is coming to a place near you."

After Oklahoma Beheading and ISIS Threats, Arkansas Firing Range Becomes First To Exclude Muslims

The Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range is now a a MUSLIM FREE ZONE.
To understand why I arrived at this decision, you must first take in to consideration the nature of my business.
This is not a coffee and donut shop. This is a live fire indoor shooting range. People come here to buy, rent, and shoot lethal weapons.
In the range, people are shooting guns in close proximity to each other, so my patrons depend on me and my discretion regarding who I allow to shoot beside them.
One mistake in judgement on my part could cost innocent people their lives.
The primary reasons I do not want muslims shooting at my range are listed:
1) The Koran (which I have read and studied thoroughly) and (which all muslims align themselves with), contains 109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror against all human beings who refuse to submit or convert to Islam. Read those verses of violence here.
2) My life has been threatened repeatedly by muslims in response to my publication of those verses from their Koran. Why would I want to rent or sell a gun and hand ammunition to someone who aligns himself with a religion that commands him to kill me?
3) * The barbaric act of beheading an innocent American in Oklahoma by a muslim
* the Boston bombings(by muslims)
* the Foot Hood mass shooting (by a muslim) that killed 13 people and injured over 30 people
* and the murder of 3000 innocent people (by muslims) on 9/11
This is more than enough loss of life on my home soil at the hands of muslims to substantiate my position that muslims can and may follow the directives in their Koran and kill here at home.
4) Two muslims walked in to my range last week with allah akbar ring tone and message alert tones on their smart phones. They spoke very little english, one did not have proof of U.S. citizenship, yet they wanted to rent and shoot guns.
Their behavior was so strange, it was unnerving to my patrons. No one would enter the range to shoot while they were there. Some of my customers left.
(can you blame them?)
5) * Muslims, who belong to and, or, support ISIS, are threatening to kill innocent Americans.
* Muslims, who belong to or support AL Qaeda, are threatening to kill innocent Americans.
* Muslims who belong to or support HAMAS are threatening to kill innocent Americans.
See a common thread here?
6) I have a federal firearms licence… The ATF informed us when we received the license that if we feel any reason for concern about selling someone a firearm, even sense that something is not right about an individual, or if we are concerned about that persons mental state, even if they pass a background check, we do not have to sell that person a gun.
In other words, a federal agency has given us this kind of discretion for service based on the nature of the business. I can and have turned people away if I sense an issue with their mental state.
7) I understand that not all muslims are terrorists. I also believe there are as many Muslims who do not know what is in their Koran as there are Christians who do not know what is in their Bible.
Since I have no way of discerning which muslims will or will not kill in the name of their religion and the commands in their koran…I choose to err on the side of caution for the safety of my patrons.
8) On the issue of religious discrimination:
I view Islam as a theocracy, not a religion. Islam is the union of political, legal, and religious ideologies. In other words, law, religion and state are forged together to form what Muslims refer to as “The Nation of Islam.”
It is given the sovereign qualities of a nation with clerics in the governing body and Sharia law all in one. This is a Theocracy, not a religion.
The US Constitution does not protect a theocracy.
The 1st Amendment is very specific about protecting the rights of individuals from the government, as it concerns the practice of religions, not theocracies.
It clearly differentiates between government and religion. Again protecting the individual’s religious beliefs and practices from (the state) government.
In Islam religion and state are one.
We are a Nation governed by laws, the U.S. Constitution. We are not a Nation that is governed by religion, politicians or clerics.
How then can Islam be protected by the U.S. Constitution?
9) Islam allows Muslims to kill their own children, (honor killing) if the behavior of those children embarrasses or dishonors the family name. (which has already occurred on American soil)
Why would I allow people (whose religion allows them to murder their own children), be in the presence of other children?
My patrons often bring their kids to the range to teach them to shoot.
I am responsible for providing a safe environment for those children to learn gun safety and shooting sports.
10) In the 14 hundred year history of Islam, muslims have murdered over 270 million people.
Since 9/11 muslims have committed over 21 thousand deadly terror attacks world wide.
In summary, people who shoot at my range come from all religious backgrounds… some are atheists… I do not care about their religious beliefs until or unless those beliefs command them to commit violent crimes against innocent people and I witness those crimes increasing, as we all have lately.
If you had received death threats by muslims, would you want the government telling you that you had to allow them in to your home or business and hand them a loaded gun?
I will do whatever is necessary to provide a safe environment for my customers, even at the cost of the increased threats and legal problems this decision will likely provoke.

Police Raids in Melbourne

A joint operation between AFP & Victoria Police is underway in Seabrook, Flemington & Meadow Heights
AFP and Victoria police execute raids in Melbourne
So far not much, there seems to be a news blackout.
VICTORIA police and Australian Federal Police officers are raiding a property in Melbourne’s southwest.
The raids follow the biggest ever counter-terror operation in Australia earlier this month involving joint operations between the AFP and NSW police.

'Trojan Horse' Scandal 'Worse in London than Birmingham' Claims Department for Education

Some schools in east London are being taken over by Muslim extremists who are trying to convert pupils and staff to their hardline ideology, according to a report in today's Sunday Times.
The newspaper spoke to a contact within the Department for Education (DfE) who clams the problem there is even worse than in Birmingham, where a 'Trojan Horse' plot to take over schools was revealed this year."Tower Hamlets is expected to be the next Birmingham," said the DfE source, "but even worse, because the problems surrounding Muslim fundamentalists imposing their views on education seems to be more embedded. One of the schools highlighted in the report is Marner Primary School, which has been inspected by Ofsted following the raising of concerns by the Home Office. The council said it expects Marner to be given a "clean bill of health" within coming days.
Tower Hamlets has a large Muslim population, and recently hit the headlines when an Islamic State flag was draped at the entrance to one of its housing estates. The flag was torn down by 77-year-old nun Sister Christine Frost.
The area has also seen occasional problems with small groups of Muslims harassing people for drinking alcohol or wearing 'immodest' clothing, although community relations in the area are relatively good.
When approached by the Mail on Sunday the DfE wouldn't confirm that Tower Hamlets was being highlighted, saying only: "If any evidence of extremism is presented to us we will investigate it.
"All schools are subject to a tough inspection regime and we have been clear we will not hesitate to take firm and swift action if pupils are being let down or placed at risk. Keeping our children safe, and ensuring our schools prepare them for life in modern Britain, could not be more important."
In Birmingham 21 schools were subject to spot inspections by Ofsted, and five were placed in special measures following allegations of a similar plot to infiltrate schools. However, Ofsted says the issue is far from resolved and other schools are also being monitored. It emerged that one school had even allowed the screening of an extreme jihadist video to students.
Inspections have taken place at faith schools across the country, including Jewish and Christian schools, as well as state schools in areas with large Muslim populations. As a result of the inspections more visits were necessary because of concerns they did not offer a broad enough curriculum in certain subjects, including religious tolerance.

South African BDS Activists Storm Woolworths Store in Johannesburg

By Ben Cohen

Scuffles broke out at a Woolworths store in the South African city of Johannesburg on Saturday, after Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) activists staged a protest over the stocking of Israeli goods.
Activists brandishing pro-Palestinian banners rushed into the store chanting “Free Palestine, boycott Woolworths.” After security guards attempted to move the protestors, many of whom were dancing and leaping around, out of the store, a brief confrontation ensued. The store closed its doors temporarily as a result.
“Woolworths sources products to the value of 12 million Rands from Israeli companies in violation of the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) consumer boycott,”  Muhammad Desai of BDS South Africa told a local news agency. In a statement responding to the protest, the retailer said that it “abhors violence and loss of life, particularly of children,” adding that “Less than 0.1 percent of our food is sourced from Israel.”
BDS activists warned that further protests would target other retailers stocking Israeli goods. “We are sending a clear message to the retail industry stores like Pick n Pay and Checkers that continue to stock Israeli products – we are coming for them,” said BDS South Africa spokesperson Kwara Kekana.
The BDS movement has been gaining support in South Africa, attracting considerable sympathy from the country’s influential Muslim organizations as well as within the ruling African National Congress. COSATU, the powerful labor union federation in South Africa, recently reaffirmed its support for the BDS movement. However, at the height of Israel’s military operation in Gaza in August, South African President Jacob Zuma stated that the Israeli Ambassador, Arthur Lenk, would remain in Pretoria, despite calls for his expulsion.

Leicester KFC customer shocked as he is refused hand-wipe because of branch's halal policy

KFC halal policy means customers are refused hand-wipes
A customer at a Leicester branch of KFC has said he was “shocked” when he was refused a hand-wipe as it might offend other restaurant-goers. Graham Noakes, 41, said he was astonished when staff at the fast food chain’s outlet in St George’s retail park refused to give him a hand-wipe because it was against its Halal policy. Staff said this was because the wipes are soaked in an alcohol-infused liquid. Alcohol is forbidden in the Muslim Holy book, the Quran. The Leicester-based Federation of Muslim Organisations has called the decision “bizarre”. Graham said: “They told me it might offend other customers. “I explained that it wouldn’t affect me. In fact - I told them I like alcohol, so it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. “When they wouldn’t give me one, I was disgusted. “I will never be going to KFC again.” The father-of-two added: “I’ve never experienced anything like this before, I couldn’t believe it. “Why shouldn’t I be allowed a wipe for my hands? “They use wipes in hospital, what happens when we start being told we can’t have wipes there? “I just can’t understand it.” Graham, who lives in Birmingham, is working in Leicester on the construction of a new Muslim community centre in Highfields. Halal is the Arabic word for ‘lawful’ and relates to what is allowed in the context of Islamic law, but is often used in conjunction with the issue of how meat is dealt with. Suleman Nagdi, spokesman for the Leicester-based Federation of Muslim Organisations, said: “I know alcohol is prohibited in the Muslim community, but I don’t understand why you can’t use hand-wipes - there’s nothing wrong with it. “Using alcohol doesn’t mean you’re consuming it. “It seems like an unusual decision to be made. “In fact, it sounds bizarre.” Suleman said such decisions potentially provoked some people to start “lashing out” at the Muslim community. “I’ve never come across anything like this before,” he added. “KFC have made a commercial decision to do this, and now the Muslim community will face backlash.” A KFC spokesman said the company had been running a halal trial since 2010, in “areas where there has been demand from our customers”, such as the restaurant in St George’s Retail Park. He said that as a result “a small number of products from our usual menu are not available”, and in addition the St George’s branch had decided not to stock wet wipes that contain alcohol”. The Mercury understands that the branch is waiting for its stock of alcohol-based wipes to be replaced with lemon-based wipes. The spokesman added: “Wherever possible, we have taken steps to ensure that our halal restaurants are close to a non-halal store to cater to all of our customers' needs, and, in this case, customers wanting a non-halal option can visit our nearby restaurant in Braunstone.” Read more at leicestermercury

Hannan: Only a Tory-UKIP Pact Can Stop Labour

By Raheem Kassam

Conservative Party MEP Daniel Hannan has taken to the Daily Mail today to insist that an electoral pact between UKIP and the Tories is the only way to stop the Labour Party taking control of the British government at the general election next year.
On the second day of Conservative Party Conference, Hannan, who is not in attendance this year, has written in the Mail: "Many Conservatives responded with irrational rage to the decisions of Douglas Carswell and Mark Reckless to join Ukip, calling them egoists, liars and worse."
Instead, he urges Mr Cameron and Mr Farage to come to an arrangement, claiming that for the Tories, a UKIP MP should be better than a Labour one, and that for UKIP, the idea of a European referendum in 2017 should be enticing.
"'We don’t do pacts,’ say some Tories. Nonsense. Conservatives had pacts with the Liberal Unionists, the ‘Coupon’ Liberals of 1918 and, for six general elections after the Second World War, the National Liberals. We had such a deal as recently as the last election with the Ulster Unionist Party."
The article comes just hours after Mr Cameron told UKIP defectors, "We're coming for you" and after Tory Chairman Grant Shapps called the newest defector Mark Reckless a liar.
Mr Hannan is known to be close friends with Mr Reckless and Mr Carswell, and speculation in the media suggests that Mr Hannan may be becoming lonely in the Tory Party.
He wrote:
"Seeing my old friend Mark Reckless in another party is sad. A devoted and patriotic MP, he has just taken the difficult decision to leave the Conservatives for Ukip.
"But the real sadness is that there should be two such parties in Britain, their rivalry retarding their shared objectives.
"Combined, the Conservative and Ukip vote comes to nearly half the national total. Yet, as things stand, Ed Miliband is likely to become Prime Minister with around 35 per cent support.
"All right, it’s not quite that simple. The electorate is not a series of blocs that can be lumped together. I sometimes find myself having to correct interviewers who ask me about Ukip ‘taking your votes’. They’re not our votes, I say; they belong to the people who cast them."
Journalists here at the Tory Conference are enquiring over Mr Hannan's longevity in the Conservative Party, though Breitbart London understands he is interested in retiring from politics in the coming years.
Mr Hannan has built a large celebrity following amongst young right wingers in the UK and America based on his eloquent speeches he has given in the European Parliament.

France: “A Complete Rejection of Socialist Policies.”

By Daniel Greenfield

Maybe it will be our turn next.
France’s ruling Socialist Party lost its grip on the upper house of Parliament Sunday, its third electoral defeat in six months…  Conservative candidates won a large chunk of the 170 seats that were up for re-election, according to preliminary results released by the Senate.
“There is a complete rejection of Socialist policies,” UMP senator Roger Karoutchi told BFM TV.
The preliminary results also highlighted growing support for Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Front, which has seized on widespread popular disillusionment with Mr. Hollande. The National Front won two seats on Sunday—a first for the far-right party, which had never had representatives in the upper house.
About that...
“These results are beyond what we hoped for,” said Le Pen. “Each day that passes, our ideas are increasingly being adopted by the French people… We have great potential.”
“There is only one door left for us to push and it is that of the Elysee,” said newly-elected National Front senator Stephane Ravier, referring to the French presidency.
And the NF is picking up support from some surprising quarters.
From the window of his Paris home, Michel Ciardi can see into the waiting room of a government welfare agency where a predominantly Arab and African crowd awaits government checks.
A former communist, Ciardi once believed the scene at the agency was a necessary element of French efforts to help integrate new immigrants. But that changed in 2000 after the second Palestinian intifada triggered a massive increase in anti-Semitic violence, much of it committed by Arab and African immigrants.
The violence was enough to shift his political allegiance to the National Front, a far-right party long demonized by French Jews as anti-Semitic and a threat to republican values.
“I never considered voting National Front,” Ciardi told JTA. “But I realized you need to defend yourself, your community, society and country against those seeking to subdue us.”

Where Islam Treads, It Leaves a Desert: Islam destroys all traces of other cultures and religions, many of them priceless and irreplaceable - artifacts and Heritage sites and people

By Giulio Meotti

Of the four great cities of the Roman empire (Rome, Carthage, Alexandria, Antioch), only the first still belongs to the West. Antioch has just a few mosaics; Alexandria (in ancient times, famous for its library) doesn’t resemble its once incomparable splendor; and the immense Carthage, with the amphitheater comparable to the Colosseum or the Baths of Antoninus, is traumatic for visitors.
Islam has deleted everything else.
Around the year 645 A.D., Omar Ibn Al Khattab, the second caliph and a successor of Muhammad, set fire to the library of Alexandria, according to a fatwa: “Or the books that are here are in accordance with the Qur’an, and therefore these are useless to us; or are not in accordance with the Qur’an and then they are bad”.  The world lost several centuries of knolewdge and thought due to that Islamic fire.
Today another caliph, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, has issued a fatwa against the World Heritage Sites of the Middle East. The much vaunted Middle Eastern richness is shrinking to a cultural desert, a single religion and a handful of languages.
For over five thousand years, many civilizations have left their mark in Mesopotamia: Assyrians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Arameans, Jews and Romans. Their ancient buried cities, palaces and temples are scattered throughout what is now northern Iraq and eastern Syria. Now most of the archaeological wealth is under the control of the Islamic State. Two days ago, Isis leveled the “green church”of Tikrit, the symbol of Assyrian Christianity in the seventh century.
Among the most important sites now under the control of Islam are four ancient cities - Nineveh, Kalhu, Dur Sharrukin and Ashur - which, at different times, were the capitals of the powerful Assyrian empire. The greatest damage has been wreaked by Islam on the Palace of Kalhu, from which the Assyrian king Ashurnasirpal II reigned in the ninth century B.C.
They have destroyed some of the “ziggurat”, the impressive temples that rise into the sky. The non-Islamic tradition of Mosul no longer exists. The Islamists have destroyed thirty historic sites, including the shrines of the biblical prophets Seth, Daniel and Jonah.
In Syria, the Islamic terrorists have demolished relics as part of their “purge of paganism”, destroying Assyrian statues. In a video, they unashamedly claim the duty of the mujahideen is to “remove the appearance of evil”.
Harta, the archeological site where "The Exorcist" movie was filmed, is in IS hands and risks destruction.
The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo had just recently reopened to the public after nine years of renovations, when last January a bomb destroyed it. It contained masterpieces of the Umayyad, Abbassid, and Ottoman periods. During the uprisings that led to the removal of President Mohammed Morsi, in August 2013, the Mallawi Museum of Minia was almost totally destroyed.
In Cairo, meanwhile, the manuscripts of the Cairo Institute went up in smoke, including the legacy of the Napoleonic expedition of 1798 in the land of the Pyramids. Nothing was saved from the great work “Description de l’Egypte”, curated by two hundred scholars led by the curator of the Louvre, Vivant Denon.
The head of the Association for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, Hagag Ibrahim, said that the Institute has been subjected to a second “Tatar invasion”, comparing it to the Mongols who in 1258 burned the library of Baghdad, whose waters turned black from ashes of thousands of precious manuscripts.
The legend says that in the Tigris there were so many books that the passage from one bank to another was by allowed through stacks of bibliographic outcrops.
In Libya, the “treasures of Benghazi”, coins, jewelry, and small statues of antiquity have been lost since the revolution of May 2011. Salafists want to destroy the statue of “the Gazelle”, the bronze monument depicting a naked woman in Tripoli.
The great library of Al Saeh in Tripoli, Lebanon, was recently given over to the flames by the Islamists.
A year ago, in Mali, hundreds of manuscripts of the Ahmed Baba Centre in Timbuktu were burned due to the irrational fury of the mujahideen. This was a body of work that ranges from the ninth century to this day. embracing all human knowledge, from medicine to astronomy, from law to mathematics, in many languages, such as Arabic, Sonrai, Bambanà, but also Hebrew.
They destroyed the door that leads into the sanctuary of the mosque of Sidi Yahya. According to legend, the entrance to the monument had to remain closed for ever, and its opening would cause the end of the world. “See - there is no end of the world”, proclaimed the Islamic blacks in  front of a stunned crowd. shocked by the sacrilege.
In Israel, Palestinian Islamists have destroyed the Tomb of Joseph, while the artifacts from the ancient Temples of Solomon and Herod in Jerusalem are scooped out piece by piece from the levels below the Temple Mount to make it seem that the presence of mosques on the Mount is the first example of construction on the site.
The Izz ad-Din al Qassam, the military wing of Hamas, recently leveled - with bulldozers - the ancient Mediterranean port of Anthedon, three thousand years of mosaic floors and columns of the Roman, Byzantine destroyed. To do what on the site? Construct a terrorist training camp.
In India, the temple of Ram at Ayodhya was destroyed to become the Babri Masjid mosque.
The great Buddha in Afghanistan were leveled by the Taliban of Mullah Omar following a fatwa. “Idols of stone” have been defined as such by the students of Allah. They began the destruction with their faces bearing sinuous lips and almond-shaped eyes, as if to hit the reproaches that those faces expressed.
In the Swat Valley, in Pakistan, the Taliban recently destroyed Buddhist statues in Jahanabad, where, in the VIII century, Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, began his journey.
And the circle was closed several days ago. The Islamic State has just destroyed the ancient Armenian Church of Der Zor, consecrated as a memorial of the Armenian Genocide and where lie the remains of the victims of the massacres suffered by the Armenians a century ago.
Then, hundreds were chained and thrown into the Euphrates. The hordes of fanatical Muslims threw themselves upon the Christians of the East. They wanted to eradicate the Cross from the empire of the Crescent.
Add to this the Christians then slaughtered in Ak Hissar, the ethnic cleansing in Cilicia, the slaughter of mothers and children in the courtyard of the German school of Aleppo, the orphans thrown in the rivers of the Caucasus like balloons.
Nothing has changed. The Islamists plan to make a tabula rasa out of entire civilizations.

Turkey: The Jihadists’ Fifth Column in NATO?

By Joseph Klein

Turkey may well be the jihadists’ fifth column in NATO.
Turkey’s autocratic Islamist president, Tayyip Erdogan, has allowed Turkey’s border to become a passageway for jihadist fighters streaming into Syria to join ISIS and the al Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra.
Oil from fields in Iraq and Syria under ISIS control has been regularly transported into Turkey, and sold to black market traders at below international oil market prices. Turkey itself is reportedly a major buyer of the cheap black market oil. The income from ISIS’s oil sales through the black market, as much as $30 million a month, helps finance ISIS’s expansion, making Turkey one of ISIS’s key bankrollers and enablers.
Turkey has also allowed ISIS recruiting networks operating online and through religious study groups to flourish within its borders. Turkey’s Milliyet newspaper reported that as many as 3,000 Turks have joined ISIS. For a government that has cracked down harshly on Kurdish dissidents and on journalists reporting inside Turkey who dare to question Erdogan’s policies, Erdogan’s regime has not appeared to have discouraged ISIS recruitment within its borders or the flow of recruits from Turkey, and the flow of recruits from other countries traveling through Turkey, who are joining ISIS fighters in Iraq and Syria.
Despite pressure from the United States, Erdogan has held back from making any significant contributions to the U.S.-led anti-ISIS coalition, fearing that Syria’s Assad regime and Kurds would benefit to Turkey’s detriment.  Even after Turkey secured the release of its citizens held by ISIS – reportedly through a prisoner exchange with ISIS – Turkey is not acting like an active NATO partner.
Turkey may now decide to provide a show of token support to the coalition to humor Obama and win U.S. support for Turkey’s bid to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council next year. However, the fact is that Erdogan is on the side of the jihadists and will use a seat on the Security Council to push an agenda that is both pro-Islamist and anti-Israel.
Erdogan’s active support of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood speaks for itself. And if there were any doubt where Erdogan’s sympathies lie, one only need to take a look at his speech to the United Nations General Assembly last week.
Instead of expressing moral outrage at the jihadists’ slaughters in Iraq and Syria, for example, Erdogan engaged in a gratuitous attack on Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who had responded to mass demonstrations in Egypt demanding an end to the theocracy that the jihadists were seeking to impose forcibly on Egyptian citizens. Erdogan was upset that his Muslim Brotherhood jihadist buddy Mohamed Morsi was no longer Egypt’s leader:
“The United Nations as well as the democratic countries have done nothing but watch the events such as overthrowing the elected president in Egypt and the killings of thousands of innocent people who want to defend their choice. And the person who carried out this coup is being legitimized. If we are going to defend people who come to power through coups, then I ask the question why we exist as the United Nations.”
Erdogan’s pettiness was evidenced by reports that he refused to attend a luncheon hosted by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last week when he learned he would be sitting at the same table as President Sisi.
Instead of playing a constructive role, like Egypt did, in trying to bring an end to the conflict in Gaza on terms that were not a complete give-away to Hamas’s demands, Erdogan did what he could to undermine Egypt’s efforts. He has previously referred to President Sisi as a “tyrant” who could not be trusted to broker a cease-fire.
Egypt’s foreign ministry put out a statement after Erdogan’s General Assembly speech exposing Erdogan’s hidden agenda to restore the Ottoman Empire’s glory days of the past:
“There is no doubt that the fabrication of such lies and fabrications are not something strange that comes from the Turkish President, who is keen to provoke chaos to sow divisions in the Middle East region through its support for groups and terrorist organizations. Whether political support or funding or accommodation in order to harm the interests of the peoples of the region to achieve personal ambitions for the Turkish president and revive illusions of the past.”
Erdogan told the Council on Foreign Relations, in a speech he delivered a day before his General Assembly address, that everything would have been hunky-dory if only the Ottoman Empire had remained intact. He said that “we see significant crises taking place in the Middle East and Eastern Europe today, and up until 100 years ago, these areas were governed from the Ottoman capital, Istanbul. The Palestinian issue, the problems in Iraq and Syria, Crimea, the Balkans are all issues that emerged following the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire.”
Erdogan has in the past evoked the imagery of the Battle of Manzikert as a symbol for Turkish youth to look up to and emulate. The Battle of Manzikert occurred in 1071, when the Seljuk Turks decisively defeated the leading Christian power of that era, the Byzantine Empire.
In sum, Erdogan shares the same goal as ISIS – the restoral of an Islamic caliphate – even if they ultimately spar over who will control the caliphate.
Erdogan said in his General Assembly speech that Turkey stands against terrorism. But Erdogan’s concept of whom qualifies as a terrorist is focused on the Jewish state.  “Israel is a terror state; they are creating a wave of terror with what they’re doing now,” he told CNN in an interview last July, referring to Israel’s military actions to defend its civilian population against Hamas’s rocket attacks and terror tunnels. “Right now, we are a member state of NATO and we are a country which acts within the framework together with our partners in NATO. We have an international identity, a character. We never got involved with terror – we have always fought against terror.”
Erdogan is engaging in taqiyya, the Islamic doctrine of deceit. Turkey, for example, actively supports Hamas, a jihadist group that engages in terror against civilians and is the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood which Turkey supports as well. While denying in his remarks to the Council on Foreign Relations that he harbored any anti-Semitic feelings, Erdogan condemned Israel for what he called its ”massacres” in Gaza. He said the Palestinian issue “is an important issue that has an impact not just on the Palestinians, but on all the Muslims and everyone who has a conscience in the world.”
But Turkey’s “conscience” is very selective. Turkey has a double standard when it comes to the issue of “occupation” and “settlers.”  While consistently condemning Israel for alleged occupation of Palestinian lands and allegedly illegal settlements, Turkey continues its own illegal occupation of northern Cyprus following its invasion of the island in 1974. Tens of thousands of mainland Turks have settled on Cypriote land that does not belong to them, under the protection of thousands of Turkish soldiers who do not belong in Cyprus.
At a UN press briefing by Republic of Cyprus President Nicos Anastasidades on September 26th, I asked him to comment on Turkey’s evident hypocrisy regarding the occupation and settlements issue, which it raises in every available forum with regards to Israel but evades when it comes to itself. President Anastasidades agreed that Turkey was displaying a double-standard.  This exchange was later removed from an official UN video record of the press conference. Did Turkish officials, who several years ago made UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon apologize for an alleged incident involving an altercation between UN security personnel and Turkish personnel, demand a censoring of the video to remove the criticism of Turkey’s hypocrisy on the occupation and settlements issue? Given the Turkish government’s regular anti-press campaign of intimidation in its own country, it would not be surprising if they did, but we will probably never know for sure.
However, one thing is for sure. Turkey is not a reliable member of NATO or U.S. ally. Its president’s sympathies lie with the jihadists and the enemies of Western style democracy. If Turkey does not unequivocally change its ways, steps should be considered to end its membership in NATO and to re-align the U.S. strategic relationship in the region further away from Turkey.

Tories ‘in panic' over further Ukip defection rumours

Fears were last night growing of further defections from the Conservative party amid rumours another MP may join Ukip within days.Tory whips were yesterday desperately telephoning backbenchers to find out if a shock departure is imminent. And there are concerns that another high-profile defector could be unveiled by Ukip on Wednesday to overshadow David Cameron's keynote speech at his party's Autumn conference. One senior minister told the Daily Express: "Downing Street is having kittens about this. "The whips have been ordered to hit the phones and find out if there is any hint of anyone else crossing over. "There are a few suspects but, of course, they are denying everything at the moment if anyone asks them about defections." It comes as David Cameron led a furious Tory backlash at rebel MP Mark Reckless after he plunged the party into chaos by defecting to Ukip. Mr Cameron dismissed the switch to Nigel Farage's party as "senseless and counter-productive" while party chairman while party chairman Grant Shapps blasted: "He lied and lied and lied again." The Rochester and Strood politician stunned the Conservative party by following Clacton MP Douglas Carswell to Ukip. Mr Farage has warned there could be more defectors to come in the future from both the Tories and Labour. But Mr Cameron hit back yesterday, insisting that only a Tory government could deliver a referendum on membership of the European Union. Tearing into Mr Reckless he told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show: "To act in a way which makes a Conservative government less likely is senseless and counter-productive. "Douglas Carswell and Mark Reckless are both people who, unlike me, want to leave the European Union no matter what. I don't agree with that. "I think we should have a go to get better reform. "I don't agree with that. I think we should have a real go at reform to get a better deal for Britain. But then there is this promise - and it is a complete and clear promise - of an in/out referendum by the end of 2017. "So, even if you don't agree with my renegotiation strategy, I'm the only Prime Minister who is going to give you the chance to have a vote to stay in or get out of the European Union." Mr Shapps said Mr Reckless continually lied in the run-up to his decision to jump ship.In an astonishing attack he accused Mr Reckless of accepting the money and time of supporters while plotting his "betrayal". He told activists iat the Tory Party conference in Birmingham: "Conference, we have been betrayed. People who volunteered for Mr Reckless, they supported him as a Conservative. People who pounded the streets, they supported him as a Conservative. "People who donated money from their own pockets, who worked tirelessly for him, they supported him as a Conservative. They did so in good faith." Mr Shapps added: "Today, your trust has been abused. You have been cheated. But worse; the people of Rochester and Strood have been cast aside. And former Tory leader William Hague took aim at the two defectors, adding: "It is not only self-defeating and counter-productive, it is also hypocritical and dishonest to say you want to give people a choice on Europe and then help the election of a Labour government that will never give people that choice." But Mr Reckless yesterday insisted he was trying to "keep faith" with his constituents and "keep my promises to them". His decision to joining Ukip comes just weeks after Tory MP Mr Carswell announced he was switching parties, and triggering a by-election. However, senior Tories are furious that since Mr Carswell's defection, they asked Mr Reckless several times if he was planning to follow him - something he denied. He told BBC One's Sunday Politics: "What I'm doing is keeping faith with my constituents and keeping my promises to them. "You heard the Prime Minister just now say the Conservative-led government was dealing with the deficit and cutting immigration. The reality is we've increased the national debt by more in five years than even Labour managed in 13 and immigration is now back up to the levels we saw under Labour. "I believe in the promises I made in 2010 and I want to keep my word to my electorate, not least to deal with the deficit, cut immigration, to reform our political system, to localise powers back to our community, particularly over house-building, and the government has broken its word on all those things. "I want to keep my word to my voters here and that's why I've done what I've done." He added: "I believe Ukip are the agents of change and I'm going to give my voters a say in the by-election. "I made a lot of promises, on the deficit, on political reform. The Prime Minister isn't keeping those promises, I want to do so, and that's why I'm moving to Ukip, the agents of change, so I can keep these promises." But he was forced to abandon plans for a walkabout in Rochester with Mr Farage, after facing a hostile reception from local media and angry Tory activists.

7 Other Lone Wolf Islamic Attacks Inside the U.S.

By Ben Shapiro

Over the weekend, the FBI announced that it would treat Islamist Alton Nolan’s alleged beheading of Colleen Hufford, 54, as a case of workplace violence. That despite the fact that Nolan’s Facebook page contains a picture of Nolan giving the ISIS salute, multiple pictures of Osama Bin Laden, a screenshot of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, and a quote reading, “I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smile ye above their necks and smite all their fingertips off them.” This, of course, is not the first time the federal government has labeled Islamic terrorism “workplace violence.” The Fort Hood shootings by avowed Islamist Nidal Hassan were classified thus by the federal government, as well. In fact, the Obama administration has repeatedly treated “lone wolf” Islamic terror inside the United States as though it were non-terrorist crime – unlike the Bush administration, which, for example, correctly labeled as terrorism Hesham Mohamed Hadayet’s attack on the El Al counter at Los Angeles International Airport in 2002 and the Beltway snipers’ multiple murders in that same year.
The Obama administration takes great pains never to label Islamic terror as such inside the United States; instead, we are told, we should focus disproportionately on the threat of right-wing groups like the Tea Party.
Meanwhile, Islamists inside the United States kill and maim and torture.
Here are seven other recent cases of lone wolf Islamic attacks inside the United States in recent years:
Yusuf Ibrahim. In April, 28-year-old Yusuf Ibrahim was indicted for two 2013 beheadings. He allegedly shot 25-year-old Hanny Tawadros and 27-year-old Amgad Konds, then cut off their heads and hands. The two were Egyptian Coptic Christian expatriates.
Faleh Hassan Almaleki. Almaleki killed his daughter, Noor Almaleki, 20, in a parking lot in Phoenix in 2009 after she became “too Westernized” and refused an arranged marriage. He also used his car to assault the mother of Noor’s boyfriend. Ahmed Rehab of the Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned the “domestic violence incident.”
Yaser Said. In 2008, Said allegedly murdered his two daughters after they began dating non-Muslims. He allegedly shot daughters Amina, 18, and Sarah, 17, on January 1, 2008 multiple times after luring them back home to visit their grandmother’s grave. Said is still at large.
Muzzammil Hassan. In 2009, Hassan cut his wife's head off because she filed for divorce against him. He stabbed his wife, Aasiya, some 40 times and then proceeded to decapitate her. Ironically, Hassan founded Bridge TV in 2004, a station dedicated to fighting “the negative stereotype of Muslims post-9/11.”
Mohammed Taheri-azar: In 2006, Taheri-azar drove his car into a crowd at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in an attempt to kill Americans in supposed revenge for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. A letter he left for police read: “I live with the holy Koran as my constitution for right and wrong and definition of injustice… I've read all 114 chapters about 20 times since June of 2003 when I started reading the Koran. The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths and torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH March 3, was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic territories.”
Naveed Afzal Haq. Haq attacked the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle in 2006 with a gun, killing a woman and wounding five. According to the Seattle police, Haq said “he wanted the United States to leave Iraq, that his people were being mistreated and that the United States was harming his people. And he pointedly blamed the Jewish people for all of these problems. He stated he didn’t care if he lived.” Those who worked with Haq said he self-identified as a “Muslim-American… angry at Israel.”
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad. Muhammad shot and killed an Army soldier at a Little Rock recruiting station in 2010. The feds didn’t charge him with terrorism; instead, state authorities charged him with murder. As the Los Angeles Times reports, after converting to Islam in Tennessee at age 20, he moved to Yemen, was arrested there, and then came back to the United States to attack the recruiting station. According to police, Mohammed stated he was “mad at the U.S. military because of what they had done to Muslims in the past,” and he wanted to “kill as many people in the Army as he could.” According to the perpetrator’s father, the feds didn’t charge Muhammad with terrorism because doing so would have shone a spotlight on their own incompetence: "They should have done their job and this never would have happened. I think that somebody in the federal government and the FBI should be charged with negligence. Negligent homicide."
Undoubtedly, there are other cases. And the power of worldwide communication means that terror groups across the Middle East are actively recruiting inside the United States. What we saw in Oklahoma may be just the beginning – or rather, the continuation – of a trend, especially if the feds refuse to treat Islamic terrorism for what it is.
