New UK law would ban critics of Sharia from broadcasting, protesting or even posting messages on Facebook

The last free person in Britain, if there is one, might as well turn out the lights. If this becomes law, Britain is finished as a free society. As the law would also forbid opposition to gay marriage, it would be interesting to see what would happen if a proponent of Sharia protested against gay marriage — but Muslim groups are largely for it, since it opens the door to the legalization of polygamy.
In any case, future free historians, if there are any, will look back at David Cameron and Theresa May as essentially saboteurs and traitors who administered the coup de grace to their own nation as a free republic. If Britain were still a sane society, as soon as this law was suggested there would have been a no-confidence vote and the Conservative government would have fallen — followed by the arrest of Cameron and May and criminal proceedings against them. Instead, Britain appears prepared to go quietly, although civil war still very likely looms in its future.
“Sharia law or gay marriage critics would be branded ‘extremists’ under Tory plans, atheists and Christians warn,” by John Bingham, the Telegraph, October 31, 2014:
Anyone who criticises Sharia law or gay marriage could be branded an “extremist” under sweeping new powers planned by the Conservatives to combat terrorism, an alliance of leading atheists and Christians fear.
Theresa May, the Home Secretary, unveiled plans last month for so-called Extremism Disruption Orders, which would allow judges to ban people deemed extremists from broadcasting, protesting in certain places or even posting messages on Facebook or Twitter without permission.
Mrs May outlined the proposal in a speech at the Tory party conference in which she spoke about the threat from the so-called Islamic State – also known as Isis and Isil – and the Nigerian Islamist movement Boko Haram.
But George Osborne, the Chancellor, has made clear in a letter to constituents that the aim of the orders would be to “eliminate extremism in all its forms” and that they would be used to curtail the activities of those who “spread hate but do not break laws”.
He explained that that the new orders, which will be in the Conservative election manifesto, would extend to any activities that “justify hatred” against people on the grounds of religion, sexual orientation, gender or disability.
The obvious problem with this is that Leftists and Islamic supremacists constantly advance the false claim that opposition to jihad terror and Islamic supremacism is justifying hatred against people, and the Cameron government clearly endorses this view — hence the ban on Pamela Geller and me. So this law will be used to curtail any opposition to the advance of Sharia in the UK.
He also disclosed that anyone seeking to challenge such an order would have to go the High Court, appealing on a point of law rather than fact.
The National Secular Society and the Christian institute – two organisations with often diametrically opposing interests – said they shared fears that the broad scope of extremism could represent a major threat to free speech.
Keith Porteous Wood, director of the NSS, said secularists might have to think twice before criticising Christianity or Islam. He said secularists risk being Islamophobic and racist because of their high profile campaigns against the advance of Sharia law in the UK.
“The Government should have every tool possible to tackle extremism and terrorism, but there is a huge arsenal of laws already in place and a much better case needs to be made for introducing draconian measures such as Extremism Disruption Orders, which are almost unchallengeable and deprive individuals of their liberties,” he said.
“Without precise legislative definitions, deciding what are ‘harmful activities of extremist individuals who spread hate’ is subjective and therefore open to abuse now or by any future authoritarian government.”
A Conservative spokesman said: “Freedom of expression and freedom of speech are a vital part of a democratic society….
Yes, but obviously not of British society. Not anymore.

Welcome to Berlin, 1937

By Roger L Simon

I have never in my increasingly long life felt vulnerable as a Jew in America.  I never even dreamed it would happen.  But it has now — with the Obama administration.
Something is seriously wrong. At almost every opportunity, Obama and his minions have criticized Israel out of all proportion to the actions of the Jewish state, particularly during the recent Gaza War when there was a constant barrage of warnings from our State Department about harming civilians. (This is a criticism State would never turn on itself. Who knows how many innocents have died in the U.S. air attacks on ISIS — no one even says a word about it.)
Now they have called Israel’s prime minister a “chickensh*t,” a “coward”  and who knows what else, using adjectives for Benjamin Netanyahu they don’t employ with Kim Jung-un, Vladimir Putin, Hassan Nasrallah, Bashar Assad or even the murderous Islamic State’s al-Baghdadi, not to mention — and this is probably crucial — the potentially most homicidal of all, Ayatollah Khamenei of the Islamic State of Iran. (One of the more sinister aspects of Jeff Goldberg’s article that generated this controversy was that one of his  leakers bragged they had scared cowardly Netanyahu into not attacking Iran’s nuclear installations, as if this were a good thing, the implication being that the administration can now look good for making an Iran deal — that would ultimately give the mullahs the bomb.)  It’s as if Netanyahu, not the aforementioned maniacs, were the administration’s worst enemy.
Meanwhile, the attempts to make nice to the Israelis over the vicious personal slurs from the article, which apparently came from two high and thus far unpunished administration officials, have been perfunctory, so perfunctory that you know they are not meant to be taken seriously, quite the contrary.  In fact, an attempted terrorist assassination of a prominent American-Israeli in Jerusalem yesterday that caused the Israeli government to put the Temple Mount on lockdown has already generated more chastisement of the Israelis from our secretary of State.  All this against an unprecedented, at least since World War II, rise in global anti-Semitism.
The administration claims  to be making these “constructive” criticisms for Israel’s sake, but the Jewish state has better allies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia than they do in an Obama administration that seems to prefer Islamofascist Qatar — those same oil sheiks that bankroll Hamas, the terror organization whose charter exhorts all Muslims to kill every Jew hiding behind a tree anywhere in the world.
And you wonder why I feel like I’m living in Berlin in 1937.
Well, I do.
You will excuse me if I think my Jewish American friends that vote Democratic every year by rote are a bit sick.  I have tried to have patience with them for about a decade, tried to persuade them with reason, but now I think they’re… well, there’s an excellent Yiddish word…  ferkochta.  Or suffering from  a Stockholm Syndrome so massive it wouldn’t fit in all the Volvo factories in Sweden.
Yes, I know many of those same people don’t give a sh*t, chicken or otherwise, about Israel — or if they do they are highly critical of everything about it, think it’s an apartheid state, yaddayaddayadda.  (Don’t ask them to define apartheid, however.)  I will just remind those same “progressive” people that there were plenty of German Jews who felt pretty much  as they do back in, ahem, 1937.

Sex-Slavery and Sharia in the Islamic State

Again, this is one for keeps and for future references.

An Islamic State fighter acquires a bride (or a slave?) in Mosul, Iraq, Summer 20141
In September 2014, several Muslim men had the following discussion on Facebook:
“Abou Jihad: “350 dollars for the Yazidi girl in Mosul if you want. LOL
Abu Selefie: I heard there were slaves in Raqqa is it true?
Abde-Rahman: I saw it was around 180 dollars per slave LOL.
Abou Muhammad: You have revived a tradition.”2
“Abou Jihad” is a French Islamic State (or ISIL or ISIS) fighter in Syria who is one of the main disseminators of IS materials in French. He is stating openly what mainstream Western media outlets, the United Nations, and the Islamic State itself have now confirmed, namely, that the Islamic State is practicing the sexual enslavement of Yazidi and other non-Muslim women and girls.Abou Muhammad demonstrates his knowledge of Islamic history and law by accurately observing that in permitting these practices, the Islamic State has “revived a tradition.” Classical Islamic law, based on both the Koran and the example and teaching of Muhammad (c. 570-632), does indeed condone the sexual enslavement of non-Muslim women taken as captives in jihad.
To understand the tradition that is being revived in Iraq and Syria, let us begin with the Koran and then turn to the traditional Islamic sources on the life of Muhammad.

'Palestine' and Sweden In Ikea La-La-Land

By David Singer

Sweden Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom’s announcement on October 30th that Sweden has recognized the 'State of Palestine' elicited a response from Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman that will surely go down as one of the most memorable diplomatic quotes of 2014:
"It is too bad that the government of Sweden has chosen to adopt the measure that does a lot of damage and has no benefits. Sweden must understand that relations in the Middle East are much more complicated than self-assembly furniture at Ikea"
Ms Wallstrom’s reasons for justifying Sweden’s incredible decision were:
The Government considers that the international law criteria for the recognition of the State of Palestine have been satisfied.
"There is a territory, albeit with non-defined borders. There is also a population. And there is a government with the capacity for internal and external control….
"The Government's assessment that the international law criteria have been fulfilled is shared by international law experts, including Professor Ove Bring, Professor Said Mahmoudi and Professor Pål Wrange, who recently wrote an opinion piece on this subject in Dagens Nyheter (20 October).”
It seems inconceivable that academics, i.e. Professor Bring, Professor Mahmoudi and Professor Wrange, could have reached the conclusions attributed to them by Ms Wallstroms.
Hopefully someone conversant in the Swedish language might be kind enough to post a translation in English to verify what they actually wrote.
Certainly Ms Wallstrom’s assertion that the international criteria for recognition of the State of Palestine have been satisfied – are rebutted by the clear terms of article 1 the Montevideo Convention 1934 – which expressly provide:
“The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications:
a) a permanent population;
b) a defined territory;
 c) government; and
d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.”
Failure to even mention that there must be a permanent population before Sweden can possibly begin the diplomatic process of recognising the State of Palestine indicates the incredulity that Ms Wallstrom’s announcement has produced.
Sweden is sending a clear signal that masks an underlying  and sinister racist and apartheid attitude – that Jews presently living in the 'West Bank' have no right to expect to continue living there as part of the 'State of Palestine’s' permanent population.
The fact that Jews have lived, died and been buried in the 'West Bank' since Biblical times with the exception of a 19 year period between 1948-1967 seems to be strangely absent from Sweden’s current thinking.
The fact that international law – Article 6 of the Mandate for Palestine and article 80 of the UN Charter – authorises and legalises close settlement by Jews on 'West Bank' land – including State lands and waste lands not required for public purposes – while ensuring that the rights and position of other sections of the population are not prejudiced – seems to have passed under Sweden’s radar and that of the panel of its international law experts.
Equally as incredible is the fact that Sweden considers that the legal requirements for a State can be met in an undefined area with non-defined boundaries.
Effective control of territory is required – boundaries are not and have never been a necessary legal prerequisite.
Sweden is of course entitled to do whatever it likes in pursuit of its perceived national interests – no matter how inept and incompetent its decisions might be.
However having apparently done so on its total misconception and misinterpretation of international law surely should give Sweden cause for second thought.
Ironically any such reconsideration now has its own problems in international law – since article 6 of the Montevideo Convention further provides:
“The recognition of a state merely signifies that the state which recognizes it accepts the personality of the other with all the rights and duties determined by international law. Recognition is unconditional and irrevocable.”
Among Sweden’s well-known exports are the “do-it yourself” furniture and home product construction kits emanating from Ikea – which proudly states on its website:
“We want to have a positive impact on people and the planet.”
If the Swedish Government thought its decision to recognise the 'State of Palestine' would have a similar effect – then it has been gravely mistaken.
How Sweden builds relations with the 'State of Palestine' - whilst missing pieces integral to its construction prevent it becoming a functioning entity Sweden can conduct meaningful diplomatic relations with - remains to be seen.
Perhaps Sweden should have heeded another successful Swedish export – Abba - whose “Waterloo” lyrics will surely resonate to Sweden’s future embarrassment:
“My, my, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself”

Ignoring history by attempting to unilaterally recognize a second Arab State in former Palestine for the first time ever in recorded history – in addition to Jordan – whilst the PLO Covenant, the Hamas Charter and the declared intentions of the Islamic State oppose that solution – is a certain recipe for disaster.
Ms. Wallstroms further declared:
“In 2009 EU Member States reiterated their readiness to recognise a Palestinian State, when appropriate. We are now ready to lead the way. “
EU member States tempted to follow Sweden into this political quagmire based on a reading of international law lacking any credibility whatsoever will only exacerbate the Arab-Jewish conflict – not resolve it.
Sweden has now become stuck with a fictitious and nonexistent State of Palestine wallowing in an Ikea la-la-land.

Swiss confirm European terror plot by three Iraqis

Swiss authorities confirmed on Friday that three Iraqis arrested in March are suspected of having planned a terrorist attack in Europe on behalf of the Islamic State group. At the end of March, authorities "arrested three Iraqi citizens suspected of providing support to the criminal organization known as the Islamic State (Isis)," Switzerland's attorney general said in a statement. "They are thought to have been planning a terrorist attack in Europe," the statement said. Swiss news media reported the arrests at the end of September, saying Switzerland's Federal Intelligence Service had been tipped off by a Western counterpart which intercepted the men's phone calls. The trio, according to media reports, allegedly helped around 40 jihadists residing in Switzerland to travel to the Middle East to join Isis. They also purportedly sought to procure explosives and toxic gas for an attack. The attorney general's office said Friday the men were suspected of providing support to the Islamic State organization and of planning attacks with explosives and toxic gases. It also said the three were suspected of encouraging illegal entry into Switzerland and residency in the wealthy Alpine nation. Swiss investigators, with assistance from European and US authorities, were attempting to identify possible accomplices and uncover networks both in Switzerland and elsewhere, the statement said. It added that Switzerland's top prosecutor was currently overseeing 20 probes linked to jihadist activity.

A Challenge to Ed Miliband: Would You Protect Great Britain Against Terrorism?

By Alan Dershowitz

Ed Miliband, who is the leader of Great Britain’s Labour Party, wants to become prime minister following the next general election. But recent statements he has made about Israel’s incursion into Gaza raise serious questions about his capacity to govern, and especially about his ability and willingness to protect the citizens of Great Britain against the threats posed by ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups.
Miliband strongly criticized British Prime Minister David Cameron, arguing that he was “wrong not to have opposed Israel’s incursion into Gaza.” It’s not clear whether this ill-advised statement was merely a political cheap shot or whether it reflects Miliband’s actual views regarding a nation’s need to defend its citizens against terrorism.
Recall that Israel’s “incursion” into Gaza occurred only after Hamas had sent death squads into Israeli territory using its network of close to 40 sophisticated terror tunnels illegally dug under the Gaza-Israeli border. According to Israeli intelligence sources, Israel concluded that unless it shut down these tunnels of death Hamas was planning to send hundreds of terrorists into Israel to kill and kidnap civilians and soldiers.
I was in one of those tunnels just before Israel’s incursion into Gaza. A Bedouin tracker who worked for the Israeli Defense Forces discovered an air hole that led Israeli soldiers to finding the hidden exit to the tunnel, which was in close proximity to an Israeli kindergarten with more than 50 children. The purpose of this tunnel was to kill and/or kidnap as many of these children as possible. As soon as I entered the sophisticated tunnel with railroad tracks, communications equipment, and places to store explosives it became clear to me that Israel would have to send troops into Gaza to find their entrances and destroy them.
Israel knew where some of the entrances were because their satellites could track the removal of large amounts of dirt. But even Israel’s most sophisticated devices could not track the direction of the tunnels or their numerous secret exit points. Some of the tunnels had several entrance and exit points—offshoots of the main underground shaft between Gaza and Israel. These tunnels could not be destroyed from the air. Nor could their exit points be found. The only two options were allowing them to continue to exist, thus endangering thousands of Israelis; or ordering an incursion into Gaza, designed to locate and destroy the tunnels from their entrance points.
Israel did not send troops into Gaza in order to stop the thousands of rockets Hamas was firing at its cities, towns and airport. It relied instead on its Iron Dome, which was only 85 percent effective, on its network of shelters located in and around every populated area, and its GPS-guided missile attacks against the rocket launchers. It was the discovery of so large a network of tunnels and the reality that Israel had no technology comparable to Iron Dome to prevent them from being used against its citizens that led Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu finally to order the ground incursion.
My challenge to Ed Miliband:  What would you have done if you were the Prime Minister of a country that faced comparable threats? It is easy to criticize the British Prime Minister for not having opposed Israel’s incursion into Gaza but, as the New York Times reported, (10/23/14) Miliband “did not outline an alternative security response.” Now he must. Would he have waited for dozens of death squads with hundreds of terrorists to enter Israel and wreak havoc on cities, towns and kibbutzim near the Gaza border? Would he have tried to attack the tunnel entrances from the air, despite the fact that many of them were located in mosques, schools, hospitals, private homes and densely populated civilian areas?
The question British voters should ask is: What would Prime Minister Ed Miliband have done? What would he do if Britain were faced with comparable threats? His country, unlike tiny Israel, is an island separated from its traditional enemies by bodies of water. But one can imagine Scottish independent radicals digging tunnels into northeastern England. Or Irish radicals firing rockets into English cities on the West Coast? As opposition leader would Miliband criticize the current prime minister for trying to stop these attacks against British civilians? As Prime Minister would he do nothing and simply call for a cease fire and the resumption of talks, as he did with regard to the Israeli-Hamas conflict?
Miliband also rebuked Cameron for his “silence on the killing of innocent Palestinian civilians caused by Israel’s military action.” But Miliband himself has remained silent on Hamas’ deliberate use of human shields that has been the main cause for why Palestinian civilians were killed. As British military expert Richard Kemp said,
“No army in the world acts with as much discretion and great care as the IDF in order to minimize damage. The U.S. and the UK are careful, but not as much as Israel.”
Kemp then provided specific ratios:
“Israel’s ratio to military casualties in Operation Protective Edge was only one-fourth of the average in warfare around the world. [D]uring the operation, there was approximately one civilian casualty for every terrorist killed by the IDF, whereas the average in the world is four civilians for every combatant, and that, when taking into consideration Hamas’s use of human shields, this shows how careful the IDF is.”
I challenge Ed Miliband to criticize Great British troops for “the killing of innocent…civilians” in their wars against terrorists.
I await answers from the man who would be Great Britain’s next prime minister—answers that assure British voters that he is neither a hypocrite nor a leader unwilling to do what has to be done to protect his countrymen from terrorism.

'Police Put A Cap' On Rochdale Child Abuse Arrests

By Andre Walker

A veteran Social Worker has accused police in Rochdale of putting a limit on the number of child sex offenders they are willing to arrest. Sara Rowbotham who was responsible for gathering evidence against Asian grooming gangs in 2012 said the police “cherry picked” suspects, leaving others free to continue offending. She said the result was that dozens of paedophiles were free to walk the streets unchallenged. The social worker blamed lack of manpower and resources for the failure to fully investigate the abuse.
Rowbotham said: “It’s very shocking but there are dozens of child sex offenders still on the streets because they put a cap on the number of people they would arrest,’ she said.
“In the end this was just a tiny proportion of the number of offenders raping and abusing children and they were allowed to escape. But not only did they cap the number of offenders but they also put a ceiling on the number of victims they would interview and proceed with."
So far nine Asian men have been jailed for a total of 77 years but Rowbotham believes the problem has not been eradicated. She said: “It’s still going on. The same perpetrators are still out there because police put a ceiling on the number of arrests. The actual number of suspects is huge but the number of victims is equally large.
“They are still having to deal with the trauma of that on a day-to-day basis knowing no-one has ever been brought to justice for abusing them."
Almost all the suspects are Muslim men, and they used alcohol and drugs to control the girls, some of whom were as young as 13. Although the problem had been known for years the Police and Council had been unwilling to act for fear of being accused of racism.
In some cases the victims themselves were arrested, to avoid causing community tensions. The problem of inaction was compounded by a wall of silence from the Muslim community, most of whom preferred to turn a blind eye to offending than risk assisting in jailing a member of their community.
The Police Federation, which is effectively the Trade Union for rank and file officers, defended the actions of their members. Ian Hanson from the Manchester branch said: “It is grossly unfair that both the organisation and our police officer members collectively are singled out and blamed by some for what is a failure of the whole system.
“We expect officers to build relationships with victims in the most difficult circumstances imaginable in a fraction of the time where often the education and social care system has failed to do so. Only when we understand the whole problem and the challenges involved will society start to deal with those issues.”
The Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner has pledged that all allegations will be investigated fully.

80% of London Muslims Support ISIS

By Daniel Greenfield

This is what the Islamization of a Western country looks like. Good luck with your integration and your moderate Islam. All the empty words in the world can’t change the fact that what’s happening in Iraq and Syria will be coming to the UK… sooner than you think.
One in seven young British adults has “warm feelings” towards Islamic State, according to a poll.
A tenth of Londoners and one in 12 Scots view Islamic State (Isis) favourably, but sympathy for the militant group reaches its highest levels among the under-25s, the Populus survey found.
Although an overwhelming majority of the public — 88 per cent — gave Isis a low score, 5.2 per cent of 18 to 34-year-olds gave it a nine or a ten. Overall, 14 per cent of under-25s and 12 per cent of 25 to 34-year-olds gave Islamic State a score of between six and ten, implying a degree of sympathy.
There are about 1 million Muslim settlers in London where they make up 12 percent of the population. These figures suggest that the vast majority of them, perhaps as high as 80 percent , support ISIS.
There’s a lot of nonsense about skepticism among young people, but this isn’t about young people. It’s about Muslims.
The report, published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on May 16, shows that although Christianity is still the main religion in Britain—over 50% of the population describe themselves as such—nearly half of all Christians in Britain are over the age of 50, and, for the first time ever, fewer than half under the age of 25 describe themselves as Christian.
By contrast, the number of people under 25 who describe themselves as Muslim has doubled over the past ten years: one in ten under the age of 25 are Muslim, up from one in 20 in 2001.
These numbers suggest that most or virtually all young Muslim settlers in the UK support ISIS.
That’s not surprising. Major papers such as the New York Times have found similar results in even supposedly moderate countries such as Tunisia among young Muslim natives. It’s not surprising that young Muslim settlers in Europe hold similar views.

Erdogan's Book of Defeat

By Burak Bekdil
In the entire Middle East, Turkey now has only two allies: Qatar, which looks more like a rich, family-owned gas station than a state; and Hamas, a terrorist organization.
Tunisia was the final chapter in Erdogan's book of defeat. Neo-Ottomanism was a childish dream. It is, now, a "sealed" childish dream.
Shortly after the Arab Spring rocked several capitals in the Middle East, the Turks devised a plan that would enable their country to emerge as the new Ottoman Empire. While deliberately and systematically antagonizing Israel, Ankara would: replace the Shia-controlled Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad with a Turkey-friendly Sunni ruler; support the Sunni in Iraq and Lebanon and boost their political influence; support Hamas in the Palestinian territories and provoke it to violence against Israel; and make sure that the Muslim Brotherhood or their various brethren rule Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. Saudis were already "our Muslim brothers." Eventually, all former Ottoman lands would produce governments subservient to the emerging Turkish Empire.
Nearly four years later, Syria's Assad is comfortably sitting in his presidential palace in Damascus and possibly laughing at the mess the Turks created by supporting Syria's jihadists. These jihadists have only wreaked havoc along Turkey's nearly 900-mile-long borders with both Syria and Iraq.
The Shia in Iraq are as powerful as before, and remain obedient to Turkey's regional sectarian rival, Iran.
The Shia in Lebanon -- where Turks are a high-value currency on the hostage market -- are increasingly hostile to Turkey.
No one knows who rules Libya after the downfall of Colonel Qaddafi, but none of the warring factions want any Turks meddling in the former Ottoman colony.
Meanwhile, a coup in July 2013 toppled the Turks' most-trusted regional ally, Egypt's then president, Mohamed Morsi. Today, not only the Turks but also Turkish products -- including even soap operas -- are unwanted in Egypt.
With the downfall -- ironically, instead of Assad -- of their Islamist allies in the region, the Turks recently discreetly moved to win back Egypt, the most populous Muslim nation in the region.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu asked to meet with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Hassan Shorky Selim, on the sidelines of the UN summit in September. The Egyptian minister abruptly cancelled the meeting, citing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's "insulting words about [Egyptian] President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi." A statement from the Egyptian foreign ministry called Erdogan's words "lies and fabrication."
More recently, Cairo announced that it would not renew a three-year transit trade agreement with Turkey. The decision indicates a further worsening of bilateral ties, which had been downgraded, as in the instance of Israel, to the level of chargé d'affaires. The transit trade agreement, signed in 2012 when Morsi was in power, had facilitated Turkish exports to African nations and the Gulf through Egypt's mainland, via Egyptian ports. Turkish companies previously sent their cargo to Gulf and African customers through Syria, when relations with Syria were normal. After Erdogan chose cold war with Syria, the Syrian route was closed to the Turks. The Turks then signed the transit deal with Egypt to use their ports and mainland as the alternative route. Now that Egypt will terminate this agreement, Turkish companies will be deprived of an easy route to Gulf and African customers.
Ironically, only six weeks before General al-Sisi ousted Egypt's Islamist President Morsi, Turkey had granted Egypt a $250 million loan to finance Turkish-Egyptian joint defense projects. The loan, the first of its kind, was intended to boost defense cooperation and Turkish exports of defense equipment to Egypt. At that time, Turkey was hoping to sell Egypt scores of Turkish-made drones, tactical naval boats and helicopters.
Egypt's hostile move was a "shock" to Ankara, but only to Ankara. "Apparently everyone dealing with the Egyptians knew this was coming, except the Turks," said one EU ambassador in Ankara.
It was not a secret that Egypt and the Turks' "Muslim brothers, Saudi Arabia" aggressively lobbied against Turkey's failed bid in September to win the seat of the non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. The EU ambassador said: "There may be further Egyptian moves to retaliate against Turkish hostilities. After Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Israel, Turkey has completely lost Egypt."
That mishap left Turkey's Islamists with one ideological ally in the former Ottoman lands: Tunisia, where the Muslim Brotherhood-inspired Ennahda party was in a coalition government -- until this past weekend.
Ennahda, the first Islamist movement to secure power after the 2011 Arab Spring revolts, conceded defeat in elections that are expected to make its main secular rival, Nidaa Tounes party, the strongest force in parliament.
This defeat is a huge setback for Erdogan's Tunisian ideological allies, who had headed a coalition government with two non-religious partners for more than two years.
Tunisia was the final chapter in Erdogan's book of defeat. Neo-Ottomanism was a childish dream. It is, now, a "sealed" childish dream.
In the entire Middle East, Turkey now has only two allies: Qatar, which looks more like a rich, family-owned gas station than a state; and Hamas, a terrorist organization. But Turkey has a rich menu of hostilities: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, (discreetly) Jordan, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, (as always) Cyprus, (now) Tunisia, (also discreetly) Morocco and Algeria, and (most warring factions of) Libya.
In an April 2012 speech, then Foreign Minister Davutoglu defined Turkey's policy goal as: "On the historic march of our holy nation, the AK Party signals the birth of a global power and the mission for a new world order. This is the centenary of our exit from the Middle East... whatever we lost between 1911 and 1923, whatever lands we withdrew from, from 2011 to 2023 we shall once again meet our brothers in those lands. This is a ... historic mission."
That was a not-so-covert message of a strategic goal of reviving the Empire. Only nine years before the deadline to "meet our brothers" and the birth of Turkey as "a global power with a mission to build a new world order," Turkey looks rather dramatically isolated.

Sweden Recognized 'Palestine' for 'Muslim Votes'

Former Israeli Ambassador to Canada Dr. Alan Baker, the head of the Legal Forum for Israel, on Friday explained to Arutz Sheva why the Swedish government officially recognized the Palestinian Authority (PA) as the "state of Palestine" on Thursday.
Baker, who previously served as legal adviser to the Foreign Ministry, sent a message to Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven following the declaration, explaining to him that the move opposes the 1993 Oslo Accords.
"On the one hand they encourage the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, and on the other hand they establish in advance the results of the negotiations," Baker told Arutz Sheva. "According to the Oslo Accords the Palestinians don't have the status of a state."
Baker posits that the recognition is a simple political act that has no juridicial meaning whatsoever, much the same as the UK's recent non-binding vote on the same issue.
"This step puts Sweden in line with states holding a hostile approach to Israel, but it has no legal meaning. It's known that the Muslims are flooding Sweden, and the prime minister needs their support," explained Baker.
The Swedish recognition has led Israel to recall its ambassador, and has also led to a string of quips, with Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman saying Thursday "the Swedish government must understand that relations in the Middle East are a lot more complex than the self-assembly furniture of IKEA and that they have to act with responsibility and sensitivity."
Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom shot back "I will be happy to send him a flat pack of IKEA furniture and he will also see that what you need to put that together is, first of all, a partner. You also need to cooperate and you need a good manual."
Her comment was met by a crushing riposte from Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon, who said "it's nice to send a piece of furniture from IKEA, but when it comes with a manual in an unintelligible language and is missing screws, it doesn't help."

UK: Head of Child Abuse Inquiry Urged to Resign Over Establishment Links

By Andre Walker

Fiona Woolf is under increasing pressure to resign as head of the inquiry into historic sexual abuse by members of the British establishment after it was shown she was close to Leon Britton. The Home Office had helped Woolf draft a letter playing down their relationship but she is under pressure after various newspapers pointed out that the two live on the same street and have been to at least four dinner parties together. Lord Britton has been the centre of rumours for many years, although they do remain unproven. He was accused of suppressing evidence of child sex abuse by senior figures when he was Home Secretary, but he strongly denies the allegations. Earlier this week Labour MP Jim Hood used parliamentary privilege to claim Britton had "improper conduct with children".
Woolf was only appointed head of inquiry when Baroness Butler-Sloss was forced to stand down after it emerged her brother Sir Michael Havers tried to stop an MP using parliamentary privilege to name a senior civil servant as a paedophile in the 1980s. Butler-Sloss claimed she was unaware of her brother's activities but stood down because any conclusions she drew about him would lack credibility.
After she left, Woolf was appointed because she is a solicitor and the Lord Mayor of London, although her term ends next month. She is said to deny she is part of the establishment, but her links to senior politicians have made it hard to continue with this claim.
As evidence of her links to both Lord and Lady Britton emerged Woolf wrote to the Home Secretary Theresa May playing down her connections. However, the plan backfired when it emerged the letter had been redrafted seven times with the help of the Home Office.
Keith Vaz, chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee told the Daily Mail the letter "raises more questions than it answers” he also claimed facts had changed as new drafts were put together.
Mr Vaz said: "It is extraordinary that Mrs Woolf did not even write the first draft of her letter, which was supposed to detail her own personal experiences.
“The letter then underwent seven drafts with a multiplicity of editors. The final version gave a sense of greater detachment between Lord and Lady Brittan and Mrs Woolf than her previous attempts.”
Early drafts of the letter included the phrases “I returned the compliment” and “we engaged in another exchange of dinner parties” but later these were deleted.  The letter also included references to the fact they live on the same street but later drafts changed the wording to say she had a house on the same street.

UK: Child Sex Exploitation Now the ‘Norm’

By Robert Spencer

The UK’s Guardian reported Wednesday that “sexual exploitation of vulnerable children has become the social norm in some parts of Greater Manchester,” and the denial and obfuscation about what is really causing this problem is thicker than ever.
In the very same sentence in which it broke this terrible news, the Guardian stated that this phenomenon is “fuelled by explicit music videos and quasi-pornographic selfies, an MP has warned.” The MP in question, former social worker Ann Coffey, has issued a report on the sexual exploitation of children in Britain that she said would “make painful reading for those who hoped that Rochdale was an isolated case.”
It was in Rochdale that a group of Muslims were involved in a large-scale sex trafficking ring involving young non-Muslim girls. Coffey is right: there is already abundant evidence that it was not an isolated case, as 1,400 British non-Muslim children were gang-raped and brutalized by Muslims in the British city of Rotherham alone, and there are numerous other documented cases in Britain of Muslim sex trafficking and rape gangs, of which the victims were non-Muslim girls.
Why has this been happening, and on such a massive scale? According to the Guardian, it’s all because social workers and others in positions of authority just don’t like troubled young people: “Coffey said police, social workers, prosecutors and juries are often inherently (albeit unconsciously) prejudiced against vulnerable teenagers – perhaps explaining why, out of 13,000 reported cases of major sexual offences against under-16s in the past six years in Greater Manchester, there have been only 1,000 convictions.”
Social workers, prosecutors, and juries are inherently prejudiced against vulnerable teenagers? With that, Coffey could win the prize for the most preposterous evasion offered this year to try to exonerate Islamic doctrine from responsibility for the evils done by those who act upon that doctrine – although she will, as in every year, face stiff competition.
In reality, social workers are not prejudiced against vulnerable teenagers; they’ve dedicated their lives to aiding people such as vulnerable teenagers. No, what social workers, in the U.S. as well as in Britain, are prejudiced against is being called “racist.” In Rotherham, British officials “described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.”
And what were the ethnic origins of those perpetrators? Wednesday’s Guardian report doesn’t mention it (which in itself is telling), but 75%, and probably more (since it is so politically unacceptable to report such things) of these rape and sexual exploitation gangs are “Asian,” which is British Newspeak for “Muslim.” Despite the continuing horror of these revelations, the British continue to take all this with equanimity, for to resist it would be “racist” and “Islamophobic.”
If Ann Coffey and others who are horrified at these rape gangs and the exploitation of children really want to stop this practice, sooner or later they are going to have to stop kidding themselves and their supporters, and confront the politically correct elites who hurl such charges at anyone who ventures any criticism of Islam and Muslims. For the unpleasant truth is that these rape gangs have become “the norm” in all too many cities in Britain because Muslims are taking seriously material from the Qur’an and Sunnah that justifies those practices.
According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general, as does this passage. “Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive, and they who turn away from ill speech, and they who are observant of zakah, and they who guard their private parts except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed” (Qur’an 23:1-6).
The rape of captive women is also sanctioned in Islamic tradition:
Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Muslim 3371)
The twentieth-century Qur’an commentator Maulana Bulandshahri explains the wisdom of this practice, and longs for the good old days when Muslims took sex slaves (days that appear now to have returned):
During Jihad (religion war), many men and women become war captives. The Amirul Mu’minin [leader of the believers, or caliph -- an office now vacant] has the choice of distributing them amongst the Mujahidin [warriors of jihad], in which event they will become the property of these Mujahidin. This enslavement is the penalty for disbelief (kufr).
He goes on to explain that this is not ancient history:
None of the injunctions pertaining to slavery have been abrogated in the Shari’ah. The reason that the Muslims of today do not have slaves is because they do not engage in Jihad (religion war). Their wars are fought by the instruction of the disbelievers (kuffar) and are halted by the same felons. The Muslim [sic] have been shackled by such treaties of the disbelievers (kuffar) whereby they cannot enslave anyone in the event of a war. Muslims have been denied a great boon whereby every home could have had a slave. May Allah grant the Muslims the ability to escape the tentacles of the enemy, remain steadfast upon the Din (religion) and engage in Jihad (religion war) according to the injunctions of Shari’ah. Amen!
This is by no means an eccentric or unorthodox view in Islam. The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that as they waged jihad warfare against infidels, Muslims would take slaves. He clarified what he meant in a subsequent interview:
…Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels. Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars–there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.
When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Qur’an 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point–there is no disagreement from any of them. [...] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.
Right around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti activist and politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.
…A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth. I brought up (this man’s) situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question, since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”
The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”
“Is this forbidden by Islam?” I asked.
“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not–she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”
While the savage exploitation of girls and young women is an unfortunately cross-cultural phenomenon, only in Islamic law does it carry anything approaching divine sanction. Here is yet another human rights scandal occasioned by Islamic law that the international human rights community and the mainstream media cravenly ignore. And even when the devastation that this practice has caused is staring them in the face, British officials tell themselves and the public that it’s all because social workers don’t like teenagers.
As Britain descends into madness, we can only hope its demise will serve as a cautionary tale for other countries in the West.

Austria: Jihadist sought crowds to boost bomb deaths

Investigators have begun to carefully probe the background of Austria's latest radicalized teenage jihadist, whose pre-detention was extended on Wednesday afternoon after a court hearing in St. Pölten in Lower Austria. The 14-year-old boy of Turkish origin had admitted to planning a bombing of Westbahnhof, one of Austria's busiest and largest railway stations, and had begun making enquiries into obtaining necessary parts for a bomb when police arrested him on Tuesday afternoon. On Wednesday evening, there were media reports that as part of the radicalization process, young people had been lured into jihadism through promises that they could receive up to $25,000 (€19,800) for an assassination. Now police and prosecutors are examining the computer, phone and other aspects of the suspect's life, including acquaintances and possible backers of the young would-be jihadist. The data analysis is expected to take days, or even weeks, according to the police. The Regional Court in St. Pölten agreed with prosecutors that there was a flight risk with the boy, and decided to impose pre-trial detention. The teenager was "strongly suspected to have been involved in a terrorist group," it said in a press release. Police have been investigating the young man since the beginning of October, when it was learned that he had been making increasingly radical statements that supported the Isis terrorist network, and had begun the process to acquire bomb parts. According to one report, the boy has admitted that he had been considering locations where crowds gathered to maximize the impact of a bomb, which is why Westbahnhof was one of his targets.

France: Man caught trying to infiltrate Jewish school

A man tried to infiltrate a Jewish school in Créteil (Paris).  The man climbed the fence and tried to remove the security camera from there.  He also photographed the school, held up a sign saying "free Palestine" and called out antisemitic insults.

Jihadist caught on German shopping trip

An alleged jihadist will go on trial in Stuttgart next week after being caught on a shopping trip to pick up goods for Islamic fighters in Syria. The 24-year-old German, Ismail Issa, will be tried on November 5th for supporting a terrorist group, after being caught when he returned to shop in his homeland last year, The New York Times reported. He was back in his home city of Stuttgart, where he was radicalized by Salafists in 2012, to pick up items from shops including discount supermarket Aldi, for his group of Islamic fighters in Syria who have since joined the Islamic State (Isis). His jihad comrades wanted their wounded fighter to bring back four sports watches from Aldi (€28 each), 10 pairs of combat trousers from an online US Army shop (€189.90 each) and night-vision gear from a Stuttgart hunting shop (€4,018). Issa, who was born in Lebanon but grew up in Baden-Württemberg, was also told to bring back sweets, medicine and books. Police discovered the goods in bags when they stopped Issa and another man, following a tip-off, driving back to Syria on November 13th last year, soon after they left Stuttgart. Details of the case were first reported by Focus Magazine in September. Around 500 Germans are thought to have travelled to the Middle East to join jihadist fighters and 130 have returned.

Germany: Pupil representative gets insults and death threats from Muslim pupils

Max Moses Bonifer, 18, has been acting as a pupil representative for a State school in Offenbach. Max is Jewish and has become used to anti-Semitic insults being leveled at him on a daily basis. He is called "Jude", obviously not in a friendly way, and also advised that there would be a "Jewish action".

Things got worse since the Gaza events. Lately, things escalated and he started getting death threats from Muslim teenagers.

He complained that in the school there is an increasing radicalisation of Muslim youths, Salafist militancy coupled with failed integration policies.

Max Bonifer said that as head boy he had to speak for pupils who threatened to kill him.  He just can't do that.  He has resigned from his post with effect from December 1.

British Jewish Opposition Leader Driving UK Jews Away Over Israel, Angers Iconic Actress

By Ben Cohen

Ed Miliband, the Jewish leader of Britain’s opposition Labour Party, is under heavy criticism from members of the UK Jewish community for his party’s growing hostility to Israel.
Among Miliband’s critics is the famed Jewish actress Maureen Lipman, who is a household name in Britain, and the advocacy group Sussex Friends of Israel (SFI,) which has garnered a national reputation for its energetic counter-demonstrations against Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaigners picketing the store owned by the Israeli company SodaStream in the English seaside town of Brighton.
In an article for Standpoint magazine, Lipman, who had a starring role in Roman Polanski’s 2002 film about the Holocaust, The Pianist, excoriated Miliband for his support for British recognition of a Palestinian state independently of any negotiations with Israel.
“If you recognise a state you can officially arm that state,” Lipman wrote. “Already billions of pounds have been allotted to rebuild Gaza. Ha! Rebuild the tunnels and reequip the arsenal. Oh, how the propaganda has worked on these clever, concerned people again and again and again. If Hamas and Fatah cared one iota for the Palestinians, might they not have built schools and hospitals and streets for their people the first time the billions poured in and were converted into weaponry and hotel suites in Paris and citizens were used as human shields?”
Lipman stated that she will vote for “almost any other party” until Labour is “once more led by mensches” – the Yiddish word for a person of integrity. She also poked fun at Miliband for “being all over the papers, knocking back a bacon sandwich” a few days after the two of them met at a London gathering, during which Miliband suggested that he attend a shabbat dinner at Lipman’s house.
In a separate development, Sussex Friends of Israel has protested Miliband’s forthcoming appearance at a November 26 fundraising dinner for Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East (LFPME,) a pro-Arab group within the party that describes itself as “a proactive voluntary group in an environment long occupied and dominated by the pro-Israeli lobby.”
In a letter to the Labour leader – the son of the late Jewish Marxist academic Ralph Miliband, who came to the UK as a teenager fleeing the Nazi occupation of Belgium – Simon Cobbs of SFI pointed to a statement in an LFPME pamphlet that undermined Israel’s very right to exist. “The one state proposal is not so much unfeasible as implausible. It is a solution maybe to a different problem, but not to this one, or at least not now,” the pamphlet stated.

“My question is this,” Cobbs wrote to Miliband. “If not now, then when? Perhaps later? Maybe as soon as you are elected Prime Minister? Is it Labour Party policy now to accept a two state solution today – and to advocate for the destruction of the State of Israel at some point in the future?”
Fiona Sharpe, a member of the SFI Executive, told The Algemeiner that the letter to Miliband had been sent this morning and shared “multiple times” on Twitter and other social media networks. Sharpe express disappointment that no-one from the Labour Party had been in touch with SFI “just to confirm that our concerns are being addressed.”
Sharpe added that the lack of response so far “can only lead us to believe that either Ed Miliband does indeed support the views of the LFPME, or that he is simply unaware of, and unconcerned by, their position documents. Either way, that makes me very worried about voting for him or his party at the 2015 election.”

Feminist Author Claims Exposing Minority Sexism is Racist

By Daniel Greenfield

This viral video of a woman walking around New York City and being harassed by men has been making the rounds of all the usual sites.
“Not a day goes by when I don’t experience this,” Roberts told NBC. Her experience isn’t unusual. Many women experience street harassment in the form of catcalls, winks or even simple greetings like “hello” that take on a different meaning when they come from a stranger staring at your breasts.
There’s a problem with the video though. Most of the men doing the harassing are minorities. That’s all the more striking because the video seems to be mostly set in Manhattan where only 13 percent of the population is black and less than 20 percent is Latino. (Not coincidentally, Manhattan is also the most expensive place to live in the city.)
So Hannah Rosin, a radical feminist and author of The End of Men decided to jump in and remind us that today’s feminism has nothing to do with helping women and a lot to do with pushing the assorted radical agendas of the left.
On Tuesday, Slate and everyone else posted a video of a woman who is harassed more than 100 times by men as she walks around New York City for ten hours. More specifically, it’s a video of a young white woman who is harassed by mostly black and Latino men as she walks around New York City for ten hours. The one dude who turns around and says, “Nice,” is white, but the guys who do the most egregious things—like the one who harangues her, “Somebody’s acknowledging you for being beautiful! You should say thank you more,” or the one who follows her down the street too closely for five whole minutes—are not.
…the video also unintentionally makes another point, that harassers are mostly black and Latino, and hanging out on the streets in midday in clothes that suggest they are not on their lunch break. As Roxane Gay tweeted, “The racial politics of the video are f___d up. Like, she didn’t walk through any white neighborhoods?”
Actually she seems to be walking through mostly a lot of neighborhoods. She walks around Soho which has a lot of white gay men and hipsters. But the real problem is that the video exposed a reality that the promoters didn’t want discussed.
He wrote, “we got a fair amount of white guys, but for whatever reason, a lot of what they said was in passing, or off camera” or was ruined by a siren or other noise. The final product, he writes, “is not a perfect representation of everything that happened.” That may be true but if you find yourself editing out all the catcalling white guys, maybe you should try another take.
What Bliss obviously isn’t saying is that the white guys were edited out because their material was underwhelming. Sexual harassment and assorted misbehaviors are not distributed evenly across races.
But he can’t say that which leaves him open to accusations of being a racist. That’s the usual pattern. If you can’t tell the truth, you have no defense against a smear.
But the whole thing is a reminder that while feminism was important, the thing called “feminism” today is leftist politics featuring bizarre outbursts of hate which have nothing to do with supporting women. In the debate over groups such as Women Against Feminism, feminists trot out a dictionary definition of feminism as equality that has nothing to do with feminism in reality. That’s what Rosin reminds us of.
The activists of the left operate around a Victim Value Index that determines which groups get priority. Black people have always come ahead of women in the Victim Value Index. That was true during the debate about voting rights. It’s still true today.
Black men got the vote before white women did, and that very issue led to a heated debate over universal suffrage in the Fourteenth Amendment, which was written to include black men, but exclude women. Suffragists were told in Fredrick Douglass’ words, “This is the Negro’s hour.” To explain why that was the hour on the clock, Douglass brought out what would become the Victim Value Index.
“When women because they are women are dragged from their houses and hung upon lamp-posts… then they will have the urgency to obtain the ballot equal to our own,” Douglass sneered. Women had been dragged out of their homes and subjected to horrors because they were women for far longer than the brief few centuries of African slavery in America, but Douglass’ real point was, “My suffering beats your suffering, so my rights beat your rights.” In contemporary progressivism this is expressed in the sneering “White Women’s Tears” meme.
So you can make a video about the harassment of women, just don’t talk about black men. You can condemn rape culture, as long as you limit it to white Ivy League men and don’t talk about hip hop or rape rates in minority communities. There are subjects that feminists place off limits because they aren’t there for women’s causes, their true allegiance is to the larger agenda of the left.

Israel to Withdraw Ambassador to Sweden

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman has recalled Israel's ambassador to Sweden Thursday, following the Swedish government's decision to officially recognize "Palestine" as a state.
Stockholm's foreign minister announced the decision to recognize the Palestinian Authority (PA) as "the State of Palestine," less than a month after the government announced its intention to make the controversial move.
Liberman issued a withering statement in response, accusing the Swedish government of being unable to grasp the intricacies of Middle Eastern geopolitics.
"The decision of the Swedish government to recognize a Palestinian state is a deplorable decision which only strengthens extremist elements and Palestinian rejectionism," Israel's top diplomat said in a statement.
"It is a shame that the Swedish government chose to take this declarative step which causes a lot of harm and offers no advantage," he said,
In a dig at Stockholm's left-wing government, he added: "The Swedish government must understand that relations in the Middle East are a lot more complex than the self-assembly furniture of IKEA and that they have to act with responsibility and sensitivity."
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Emmanuel Nachshon told AFP about the decision, saying "this indeed reflects our irritation and annoyance at this unhelpful decision which does not contribute to a return to negotiations."

Sweden Recognizes Unelected Government of Bankrupt Terror State That Doesn’t Control its Own Territory

By Daniel Greenfield

In all fairness, that’s true of some Swedish cities as well these days now that they’ve been properly enriched by Muslim immigration.
Still let’s look at the absurdity of recognizing a Palestinian State.

1. The Palestinian Authority refuses to hold elections because the last time it held them, its leaders got walloped by Hamas. Abbas is treated as the President despite refusing to stand for office. There can be no legislature without seating Hamas so the legislative powers have in practice devolved to the PLO, which is not only a terrorist group but not elected by the general public.
Sweden didn’t recognize an elected government. It recognized the leadership of a terrorist group.

2. The Palestinian Authority doesn’t actually control the territory it claims encompasses its state. Let’s set aside the question of Israel. Ever since the last set of elections and the civil war and the Hamas takeover of Gaza, the Palestinian Authority doesn’t actually control Gaza.
The latest unity government was an attempt at sidestepping that question, but the fact remains that the PLO controls its population in the West Bank and Hamas controls Gaza. Sweden has recognized an unelected terrorist group’s control over territory which it doesn’t control.
It might as well recognize ISIS as the official government of Malmo. That would be closer to the truth.

3. The PLO’s Palestinian State would exist for roughly five seconds without foreign aid. Its economy consists of the UNRWA and other foreign aid. Its chief employers are the Palestinian Authority and the UNRWA.
Not only is it unelected and not control of its own territory, but its funded by foreign interests. If it had to function as a state, it would die tomorrow. Not only doesn’t it have the infrastructure, but it doesn’t even have the economy.

So Sweden recognized the unelected government of a bankrupt terror state that can’t function as a state or a government because… that’s how much its new leftist leaders hate Israel and Jews.
There’s no rational reason for extending state recognition to an entity that fails the test of functioning as a state at every level from the economy to elections to simple territorial control.
But fair is fair.
I recognize Lars Vilks as the President of Ladonia.

Netanyahu is no Coward, but Obama is a Liar

By Mark Langfan

PM Netanyahu has been a brave Israeli Prime Minister on the Iranian nuclear issue.  Why?  The entire present-day country of Iran is rung with huge difficult mountains.  In specific, the Zagros Mountains line Iran’s western borders and tower over 4,000 meters high.  For Israel, Iran’s multiple geographically and topographically nested nuke facilities are no Iraqi Osirik in the plains of Mesopotamia.  Iran is tough military nut to crack.  Prime Minister Netanyahu didn’t attack Iran, but not because he is a coward.  Israel didn’t attack Iran because:
1.Obama serially lied to Israel, and promised Israel the US wouldn’t allow Iran to construct a nuclear bomb.
2. Obama also extorted and threatened Israel not to attack Iran.
Netanyahu’s not a coward on Iran; but Obama is liar and an Iranian stooge.
This started in October 2008, not October 2014.  Claims that “ISIS aligned the US and Iran” just recently are pure idiocy.  Obama walked into the Oval Office in 2009 already aligned with Iran, and with Valerie Jarett having a direct telephone line to the Iranian Twelver mullahs.  “ISIS” is only a convenient excuse for Obama to come out of his Iranian closet.  Obama has protected the Iranian-terror state from the start   For instance, when there was the first Iranian uprising Obama doted over Iran's regime like a doting mother over her little new-born babe as Iran machine-gunned protesters in the streets.
Obama has always held an American military supply knife to Israel’s throat.  Obama withheld vital US Hellfire air-to-ground missiles from Israel when Hamas was actively firing Iranian M302mm Khaibar missiles into Tel Aviv; just imagine what American military supplies Obama would have withheld from Israel if Israel had violated Obama’s “don’t-attack-Iran-or-else” threats.  In retrospect, Bibi wasn’t a coward for not attacking Iran, he was a prescient military genius.  One never begins a war without having the supply chain to finish it.
Imagine what horrific concessions in “Judea and Samaria” Obama could have extorted out of Israel if Israel was in the middle of a war with Iran/Hebollah/Hmas, and Obama had pulled the military plug on Israel as in the 2014 Gaza War?  This would expose Israel to a Hamastan 'West Bank' rocket state.  I have always believed Obama would betray Israel in any war, let alone an Israel-Iran war, so I never sided with a unilateral Israeli attack on Iran.
Obama betrayed Israel on a defensive operation, letting Israel understood that it could never trust Obama in any war, let alone an offensive war against Iran’s nukes where Israel would have to project power over a thousand miles away.
Iran was never Israel’s problem; Iran is everybody’s problem.  It is Saudi Arabia’s, Egypt’s, Pakistan’s and America’s problem.  Why should Israel do the dirty work on Iran, and get all the blame and condemnation, where the Sunnis are likely to be attacked first?  Obama may have called Netanyahu a coward, but the unintended consequence of his insults will be to strengthen Israel’s military and strategic bonds with Saudi Arabia and Egypt.  Both the Egyptians and Saudis now see Obama will betray Israel as Obama has betrayed both of them.
An extremely bad Obama-Iran nuclear deal must be very close at hand.  There’s a chance that the Senate may turn Republican, and hence may be a constitutional thorn to consummating an Iranian-nuke deal.  Obama may be forced to get the Iran-nuke-deal done after the congressional mid-term elections, but before the Republican majority Senate is sworn in in January.  A Republican majority Senate will likely constitutionally demand that any Iranian-nuke deal constitutes a treaty, and, therefore, must be put to a Senate treaty ratification vote.
Obama may even have arranged a pre-emptive verbal attack on Israel to give Israel a taste of what may happen if Israel dares complain about Obama’s deal to empower Iran as a nuclear-weapons’ state.
The only silver lining is that Netanyahu and Saudi Arabia have now seen Obama’s betrayal on the Iranian nuclear track.  This means Obama is planning an even greater betrayal of Israel over the 'West Bank'.  I disagree with Josh Ernst the White House spokesperson, actually the Obama insults were very “productive.”  Obama is exposed as a lying Iranian stooge before hoodwinking Israel on the 'West Bank'.
Prime Minister can now show Obama he is the true hero of Israel by building not just a mere 1,000 homes in Judea and Samaria, but by building 100,000 homes in Israel’s sovereign homeland.

UK: Imam's 'Sham Marriage' Trial Collapses after Home Office Forgets Evidence

By Oliver Lane

The trial of an imam who was accused of conducting hundreds of sham marriages for British residency permits has collapsed after a Home Office blunder meant the prosecution had no evidence to present at trial. Mohammed Mattar, 62, was accused of performing the ceremonies at an 'Islamic Centre', in fact a bookshop, in North-West London between 2008 and 2012. It is thought there were some 580 of these 'sham marriages' in all, for which Mattar was arrested at the Dar Al Dawa bookshop of Westbourne Grove road in 2012, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The court case against Mr. Mattar for conspiring to facilitate a breach of UK immigration law and money laundering was due to proceed this month but was dropped at the last moment. A spokesman for the Criminal Prosecution Service, which is the government body which brings cases against individuals said: “In early 2014 we identified a large amount of potentially relevant material and we advised the Home Office investigation team to obtain and look into the material for the purpose of disclosure.
“In August it became apparent that this work had not been completed and therefore we would not be able to fully discharge disclosure obligations in the case before the trial.
“We therefore applied for an adjournment. This was refused by the court and we had no option, but to offer no evidence”.
Mr. Mattar's wife maintained her husband's innocence, and her ignorance of goings on in his daily life. She said: "We had a bookshop, that was it. He is a religious man, we are Muslim, but he never carried out any marriages... Police came to our house two years ago … They took some things away, I don't know what it was, they said it was to do with sham marriages but Mohammed never talked about it.
"I am just a housewife... We don't speak about these things”. When asked if her husband was an Imam or not, she said “Not that I know of, I'm too busy looking after my child. He's a trader and he's always out working”.
Mattar's former bookshop in Westbourne Grove is just streets away from the Westbourne Park Al-Manaar mosque, the infamous Kensington place of worship linked to many British young jihadis now dead or fighting abroad. As reported by Breitbart London, the chairman of the mosque admitted earlier this month that his congregation was so large on Fridays he was unable to prevent radicalisation. He said: “On Fridays we have about 2,000 people come. Who meets who? Who says what to who? I think it would be dishonest if I told you ‘No’.
"But we try our best to control what goes on in our premises. We don’t allow people to address the congregation; we don’t allow people to distribute literature. Unfortunately these things happen on the big occasions, like on Fridays. And then you find people on the street outside the mosque, lobbying people, giving out literature — some of it for good causes, some of it for others".
‘Jihadi rapper’ and ISIS fighter Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, who was considered to be a potential man behind 'Jihadi John' has been linked with the mosque, as well as local boys and Al-Manaar worshippers, Hamza Parvez and Mohammed Nasser.
Nasser was killed in an explosion shortly after arriving in Syria in May, but Parvez is still fighting and “is actively taking part” in the establishment of the Islamic State. Other former worshippers are known to have gone to fight abroad, and “underwear smuggler” Amal Al-Wahabi who tried to get large amounts of cash to her jihadi husband in Turkey in her friends knickers was a former employee of the mosque's nursery.

UK: 650 Children At Risk Of Sex Abuse In Manchester Alone

By Andre Walker

A report into child abuse in Greater Manchester has revealed 650 runaway children were at risk of sexual abuse in less than one year. The report was commissioned in the wake of the Rochdale abuse case and shows a total of 3,242 children were reported missing between January and September this year. The report author Ann Coffey MP said that many of the children involved were “very vulnerable” as they were in care. She claimed they were "at significant risk" of being sexually exploited by predators. In many cases the authorities had no idea where the children were or whether they had become victims of sexual offences.
In the last six years there have been 1,000 convictions for serious sexual offences against 13,000 children. But many cases still go unreported, meaning that offenders often have a free rein to exploit children for long periods of time.
Ms Coffey concluded that around one in five of the children that went missing were at risk of sexual exploitation and of those who went missing 530 were in care. Police do not classify every incident of a child being away from their home as missing, they also categorise some children as being absent. The total number of absent children for this period was 4,923.
In the report, Ms Coffey said: "There must be concern about the high number of looked after children who continue to generate multiple missing reports, as these children are particularly vulnerable to CSE."
She said she had "strong concerns" that some of the independent private children's homes in Greater Manchester were "flaunting government guidance, which says they have to notify the local authority when a child moves in from another area".
"We have, in the North West, about 25 percent of all private and independent children's homes in the country so authorities, often from many miles away, place children in the Greater Manchester area. These are very troubled children who have been moved to get them out of a situation where maybe they have been at risk.
"Those children don't necessarily want to be in Greater Manchester and one of the ways in which children demonstrate they don't want to be somewhere is that they run away. There is a significant risk of CSE of children who go missing from care, [as they] are very vulnerable children and are often preyed on by predators who understand this."
The report warned that some private children’s homes are not doing enough to protect vulnerable young people. Coffey recommended that police should do spot checks on all homes to ensure all the children that lived there were accounted for.
Labour MP Simon Danczuk has said that the report is flawed, however. Speaking to Sky News, he said that it failed to blame the perpetrators of the crimes and didn't mention any details about them, including ethnicity.
He also accused it failing to properly criticise police, saying that they showed "lack of enthusiasm" in prosecuting the abusers, thus letting them get away with their crimes for far too long.

Massive Anti-Islam March Planned For Berlin

By Oliver Lane

Anti radical-Islam protesters have been accused of having “misused the freedom of assembly” by gathering in Cologne over the weekend, and authorities are calling for further meetings to be banned in anticipation of plans to hold a further rally in Berlin. An estimated 4,800 marched on Sunday in reaction to the recent sectarian violence witnessed on the streets of Germany, as Iraqi migrants from the Salafist Muslim and Kurdish communities clashed over grievances brought with them from the near-east. Despite the violence of the earlier riots by the Iraqi groups, the focus of the German government appears to be on only banning marches by the anti-Salafist or ‘Salafismus’ groups, which has angered some.
Rechtsanwalt Dubravko Mandic, German lawyer, chairman of the court of Eurosceptic party Alternative für Deutschland (Alternative for Germany, AfD), and member of Junge Alternative told Breitbart London: "The phenomenon called “Salafismus” brings together otherwise sworn enemies drawn from various soccer fan clubs. Native Germans march side by side with immigrants in the presence of a serious enemy. Thus, our government and the system parties seem to know only one enemy: the german sense of nationality.
“I am not surprised that it is the ‘hooligan’ and nationalist scene in Germany which now opposes Salafists and feels the need to show strength, when at the same moment the police and government have no answers to the growing menace from radical muslims. We, the alternative youth, are not against Islam, but we are convinced that dealing with the threats from radical islam requires politicians with patriotic attitudes. The government has no such politicians and that is why our party is the future of the this country”.
When 1,000 Kurds protested outside a mosque in Hamburg linked to pro-ISIS Salafist Muslims earlier this month a running battle lasting three days culminated in a riot from which German police recovered a firearm, meat cleavers, knives, brass knuckles, and even kebab skewers. Rioters tore up street furniture and battled with police who deployed water canon to keep the warring Salafist Muslims and Kurds apart.
Senior figures in the German law-enforcement community have reacted with concern to the riots. Rainer Wendt, of the German Police Union said: “there's a danger that the battle in Syria spreads out and comes here, that radical groups join together against Salafists... we can't allow a proxy war to take place in Germany”, reports
The head of the Federal office for Constitutional Protection, the German security service which monitors political extremists agreed that foreign conflicts were spilling over onto the streets of Europe. He said: "the conflict in Iraq and Syria is being reflected in Germany… There's cause for concern that violent confrontations between different extremists will escalate further on our streets". He said by meeting this way the Hooligans had “misused the freedom of assembly”.
Despite the violence, which was described by a local police official as resembling a “civil war”, there has been scant talk of banning Salafist Muslim or Kurdish demonstrations in Germany, which have so often recently descended into violence. This contrasts with the situation around Germany’s right-wing “Hooligans against Salafism” group, which within two days of their Sunday march authorities have discussed banning.
Enthused by what they see as the success of their first march, the anti-Salafist ‘Hooligan’ group has claimed “Cologne was just the beginning” and have vowed to continue in Berlin in November, registering a march against the “Islamic State of Europe” with the police. A local interior minister told German press that the authorities “must convince the courts to forbid such demonstrations in future” and that the demonstration’s political edge was little more than a pretence, as he insisted it was no more than “a platform for violence”.

Germany: Kids start 'Nazi club', harass Jewish kids

An entire high school class in Germany is being investigated after the teenage pupils allegedly started greeting each other with 'Heil Hitler' and communicating in Nazi slogans.
Parents and authorities are horrified after it emerged that some of the 29 student have been swapping Nazi sayings and slogans throughout the school day on instant messaging-app WhatsApp.

Eli Gampel, 54, who has a son in the class, said: 'These discussions about the Nazi class from Landsberg are a load of rubbish. I thought it was a bad dream when I opened newspapers and read the article.'

Gampel, the former head of the local Halle Jewish Community, said his son had experienced harassment at the school.

'My son told me that someone had stuck a far-right NPD [National Democratic Party] sticker on his jacket. It was well known, it seems, that he was Jewish.'

'I have made a formal complaint with police for an investigation, but on the other hand it would definitely be the wrong thing to simply accuse the entire class and tar them with the same brush.'

He said: 'Even after I read about it, I found it difficult to get him to talk about what went on. It was only through a lengthy discussion that he admitted what was in the newspaper article was essentially true.'
