Germany: After "Allahu Akbar" shouts Kiel Central Station widely closed

Passers-by had called for help on Monday noon because a suspect in the area of the station behaved conspicuously according to their descriptions and shouted "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic for "God is greater"). Police met him shortly afterwards in the immediate vicinity and arrested him; he did not resist. According to the investigators, he is a Greek citizen born in Germany who had already been known to the police for "minor offences". Because the man was carrying a bag and a backpack, the task forces requested the explosive ordnance clearance service and cordoned off the area extensively.
