On the night to Sunday a 17-year-old young woman in the city of Siegen was the victim of an extremely brutal attack. The crime took place shortly after three o'clock in downtown Siegen in the area of Berliner Street at the level of the district court or the public prosecutor's office. The 17-year-old, who was on her way home at the time - on foot coming from the station - was first approached by an unknown man and then attacked with extraordinary aggressiveness and brutality. The victim suffered considerable injuries and shock and had to be taken to a hospital with an ambulance, where he remained stationary. An attentive 26-year-old motorist, who had driven his vehicle along the AS City-Galerie at the time of the crime, had heard the loud cries for help of the young woman in the area of Berliner Street despite loud music in his vehicle at the height of the courthouse. He immediately stopped his vehicle and came to the aid of the victim, who had been lying on the ground under the connecting bridge and was completely defenceless in the meantime. The 26-year-old immediately alerted the police and was able to observe the alleged perpetrator at the staircase to the public prosecutor's office parking lot and also recognize how he left it via a second staircase to Berliner Street directly at the Sieg and fled in the direction of the train station. But the attack on the young woman must also have been noticed by about 4 - 5 passers-by who were on the other side of the street at the time of the crime and all dressed in black. These persons are important witnesses for the Siegen Criminal Police Office 1, which is now investigating this matter, and are therefore requested to report to the police on 0271-7099-0. The suspect himself is described as follows: Foreign, probably of Arab origin; about 25 years old, about 1.75 meters tall, strong upper body, but not athletic, light belly base; short, black hair; stubbled beard; spoke broken German, wore a dark blue hoodie, pulled over the head; over it, possibly with a hood. a thin vest or a white top; wide, dark / black jeans, dark shoes; very bad teeth; possibly the suspect was wearing scratches or similar due to the 17-year-old's resistance. Immediately before the attack on the 17-year-old, the suspect most likely followed a group of four women in the area of Hindenburg street in the direction of the station and is said to have been very intrusive. The criminal police is also looking for these still unknown women, one of whom is said to have been dressed in a red jacket, as important witnesses and asks them to also call 0271-7099-0. Other possible witnesses who could help the police to clarify this brutal attack or provide relevant information about the suspect in question are also requested to call the above number.
