Berlin police arrest eight Syrians after presumed anti-Semitic crime

According to a report, the Berlin police have arrested eight men after a suspected anti-Semitic attack. A Syrian man was attacked by a group of compatriots in a park in Berlin's Central District on Saturday night to Saturday, the daily "Welt" reported, citing police information. The man has asked the group for fire. One of the Syrians discovered a star of David on the man's necklace, and therefore the group had beaten him. According to the report, the victim suffered lacerations which had been treated on an outpatient basis. As a result, state security is now investigating.
