Germany: African man stabs a visitor to the "Wingster Tropennacht" Festival

On Friday, the 20th of July, 9.25 pm, an attempted homicide took placein the town of Wingst  in the street Wassermühle. A group of people had been expelled from the festival grounds of the festival "Wingster Tropennacht" after disputes. However, the argument did not end outside the festival grounds. A 22-year-old Angolan refugee from Hemmoor suddenly pulled a knife and stabbed a 21-year-old German from Cadenberge several times. The injuries suffered were life-threatening for the victim. The man from Cadenberg was taken to a hospital. There is currently no longer any danger to life after a successful operation. The perpetrator was arrested by the police at the scene of the crime. The accused was brought before the investigating judge of the Otterndorf district court at the weekend. An arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter was obtained from the Stade public prosecutor's office against the accused. The 22-year-old was taken to a prison.
