Germany: Moroccan runs on tracks towards Denmark - train has to start emergency braking - many train failures because of this

This morning at about 5.30 a.m. the Federal Police was called to a mission on the railway line leading from Neumünster towards Flensburg. A regional train had spotted a person walking on the tracks at the level of the village of Tarp. The locomotive driver had initiated an emergency stop, fortunately it did not get to the collision. A low speed command has been issued for the trains. A freight train also had to initiate braking. The railway line has now been completely closed. Two patrol cars of the Federal Police searched the area and could also find a young man in the Tarp area. They took the man out of the danger area. It turned out that he was a 25-year-old Moroccan. He had a map of the way to Denmark with him. He must now expect to be charged with dangerous interference in rail traffic. The railway line was closed to police action for 50 minutes. Five trains were affected by the line closure.
