Germany: Turks and Africans beat a traveller in the suburban train

A clash between a 43-year-old traveller and three men aged 21 to 23 took place last early Saturday morning in a suburban train on the S1 line. According to initial findings, all parties involved entered the train towards Herrenberg at around 4:00 a.m., when verbal disputes initially arose. As a result, the three alleged perpetrators, together with a previously unknown man, are said to have suddenly struck the 43-year-old before the group at the Stuttgart-Neckarpark station initially escaped from the suburban train undetected. The 21-year-old Turkish citizen, the 22-year-old Ghanaian citizen and the 23-year-old Congolese citizen have been provisionally detained by officials of the national police as part of a manhunt. As a result, the 21-year-old insulted the officials. The passenger suffered facial injuries as a result of the incident, which is why an ambulance called in subsequently took him to hospital. The Federal Police in Stuttgart has taken over the investigation of the incident and is accepting information under the telephone number +49711870350. The three alleged perpetrators will now face criminal proceedings on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
