Germany: Young woman attacked verbally and physically -- according to witnesses, the perpetrator is probably of Turkish origin

The Siegen Criminal Police Department 4 is currently investigating an as yet unknown man for assault and insult on a sexual basis. The man had approached a young woman in front of a bar in Siegen's Hindenburg street around 3.15 a.m. on the night of Friday to Saturday. When the man was rejected, he became aggressive, insulted the 20-year-old with obscene swear words, grasped her by the neck and pushed the young woman to the ground. The perpetrator is described as follows: about 25 years old, about 180 cm tall; according to witnesses, probably of Turkish origin, strong/thick stature, black hair, tied to a plait, white T-shirt. When bystanders came along, the stranger left the 20-year-old and went to the bar, where he could no longer be found by the police, who had been alarmed in the meantime. Further relevant information on the unknown is requested by the police on 0271-7099-0.
