News from the asylum madhouse in Germany: Because the decision to reject his asylum application was not properly delivered to him, the state of Hesse has to retrieve a 27-year-old Yazidi man from Russia. The Giessen Regional Court found that the deportation of the Russian citizen on 13th of November was illegal. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) had rejected the asylum application of the 27-year-old Yazidi man. According to the court, however, this decision had not been properly served on the man. The man had therefore been able to bring an action against his rejection too late. The BAMF, on the other hand, assumed that the proceedings had been concluded. The BAMF had informed the Regierungspräsidium Gießen of this in such a way that the deportation was ordered, according to official sources.According to the lawyer of the rejected asylum seeker, he and his mother fled to Germany in 2015 and granted asylum. As grounds for asylum, the two men stated that they were persecuted as a religious minority in Russia. The 53-year-old mother, who is in a wheelchair after a stroke and is completely dependent on help, has already been banned from deportation by the busy lawyer. It is unclear when the rejected asylum seeker will be resettled back to Germany at taxpayers' expense. According to WeltOnline, the lawyer of the rejected asylum seeker announced that the court had set a deadline of 5th of January.
