Trump to announce second presidential run next month

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he will be officially announcing his second presidential run at a rally in Orlando, Florida, next month.
“I will be announcing my Second Term Presidential Run with First Lady Melania, Vice President Mike Pence, and Second Lady Karen Pence on June 18th in Orlando, Florida, at the 20,000 seat Amway Center. Join us for this Historic Rally!” he wrote on Twitter.
Trump is not expected to have difficulty securing the Republican nomination for a second term. While former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld has announced that he will challenge Trump, history shows that presidents generally only face serious primary challenges when their approval rating within their own party is at 75% or below.

John Bolton: Trump Looks Forward to Negotiating with ‘Fully Independent’ UK

U.S. national security adviser John Bolton has said that President Donald J Trump is a “strong supporter of Brexit” and is looking forward to negotiating with Brexit Britain.

Mr Bolton spoke to British broadcaster Sky News ahead of the U.S. leader’s State Visit to the UK and talked of the President’s eagerness to do a trade deal with the UK saying: “President Trump’s made it clear that he looks forward to a day the U.S. and the UK can negotiate a bilateral agreement that will be beneficial to both countries and see the will of the people carried out.”

The comments come as the outgoing prime minister, Theresa May, had been tussling with her own Brexiteer MPs to gain support for her EU-approved withdrawal treaty, which British politicians such as former minister David Davis warned could stop the UK from making free trade agreements with countries outside of the EU including the United States.

After failing to pass her Withdrawal Agreement Bill three times, the prime minister announced that she would be stepping down as Tory Party leader on June 7th — after President Trump’s State Visit between June 3rd and 5th.

Touching on the subject of the party leadership race, with the winner becoming the UK’s next prime minister, Mr Bolton said: “…I think it’s going to be up to the Conservative Party in the first instance to pick a new leader and then to see what happens in the negotiation process with the European Union.

“He has been a strong supporter of Brexit and I think he really does look forward to negotiating with a fully independent Britain outside the European Union.”

The Trump administration has been sending a number of overtures to the UK offering a “tremendously big” free trade agreement; however, concerns have also been raised on both sides of the pond that any deal that aligns the UK too closely with the EU could make FTAs impossible.

While the EU and parliamentary Remainers have claimed that a fully-independent UK, that leaves the bloc in a clean break without customs alignment or a transition period, would negatively affect the UK’s economy and that the UK is too small to stand on its own on the world’s stage, Mr Bolton had said that a no-deal Brexit is no problem.

When Mr Bolton last spoke to Sky News in March, he said that the world’s largest economy would be keen to sign an FTA with a no-deal Brexit Britain, saying: “People who worry about the UK ‘crashing out’ of the European Union — that’s the phrase they use — they’re going to ‘crash’ right into the United States.”

In his comments to the broadcaster from Thursday night, Mr Bolton made reference to the British industries and products that the United States are particularly interested in gaining access to, such as British pharmaceuticals, and raised the prospect of a “three-way deal” including Canada as the Anglosphere’s economies are so “in sync”.

“Britain is a global economic power and political power and we look forward to a strong relationship,” he added.

President Trump is set to meet with the outgoing prime minister, who Mr Bolton said he “admires” and was proud to work with “because the U.S.-UK relationship is the most important bilateral relationship we have”; however, earlier on Thursday President Trump said that he may also meet with Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage and Tory leadership hopeful Boris Johnson during his stay.

“Nigel just had a big victory, got 32 percent of the vote, starting from nothing… Nigel Farage is a friend of mine, Boris is a friend of mine, they’re two very good guys, very interesting people,” he said.

Responding to whether or not the President would meet with either figures, Mr Bolton said: “The president will do what the president

Democrats want to impeach Trump? Go ahead — make my day

By Gordon Wysong

The political world is all agog about impeachment, and the dance we are seeing is reminiscent of a rave party. There is noise at ear-splitting levels, but nothing meaningful. There are fanatic zombies, all screaming for attention, as though their antics warrant examination and acclaim. Each MSM camera seems to fuel a drug-like fervor to feed an insatiable ego, and nowhere can a quiet voice of reason be heard over the din.

Those attending the event are all sure they are the stars of the production, but each of them now must carry the burden of impeachment fever alone. Sure, there are a lot of others talking a good game, but which of them will bell the cat?

Jerrold Nadler, who always seems too small for any role he has, cannot lead with the force of his intellect, and seniority does not a leader make. Schiff, whose obsequious appearances have been fraught with falsehoods, has already faltered. He is now without a written script, attesting to his genius. In the Senate, nary a Democrat champions the call for impeachment, for it means they must go on the record — something career-minded politicians don't want to do.

Among the newbies of the House, the heft of a coherent argument for impeachment is laughably out of range. It takes at least two of them combined to reach a three-digit I.Q. What they can do is scream at the top of their lungs, gesticulate wildly, misquote any source, and dominate a news cycle like a major hurricane. They cannot enlist the assistance of their fellow man, because they can't do any of the heavy lifting themselves.

So along comes Mueller. He lost the respect of objective observers by demonstrating his bias — especially in hiring Hillary-supporters for his team. But he alienated conservative and legal scholars by his failure to investigate meaningful transgressions that stood nakedly exposed on the other side. It would not be sufficient to say he was looking at Russian interference, and the scope of his investigation was thus limited to Trump's activities.

The predicate for his investigation was an allegation. Who made the allegation? What was the evidence? Can we simply verify this evidence, and succeed in our mission? That is the starting point, and all the rest of this dog and pony show is frou-frou.

But Mueller didn't do that. It's enough to discredit anything he did do. All his machinations were not to verify the allegations, but to obscure them. It is a piteous report he filed, followed by a contemptible series of lies to Barr and others at the DOJ and a self-serving and cowardly press conference he held. As special counsel, the rules are pretty much understood to be the same as a not so special prosecutor. When that didn't serve his ends, Mueller violated those rules. Publicly, we saw that he had no such respect for the traditions of our system of justice. Privately, it is quite likely much worse.

The attempt to placate the Left, and to protect associates who were involved in violations so egregious that they amount to at least sedition, has put Mueller on the wrong side of history. The only way this will not be widely known, is to let the report die a quiet death. Yet Mueller is so vain that he is just beginning to realize this — hence his attempt to opt out of the plot.

For The Impeachers, the assistance they need is not to be found in the Mueller report. So they must turn to Aesop if they are to have their bloodlust quenched. This will be the spectacle of spectacles. Unable to coherently frame high crimes and misdemeanors, they will thrash about for an invented transgression or misname the nature of an etiquette faux pas. Doing so, they will rely on the usual cast of characters, drawn from the ranks of the bureaucracy. And that will be their biggest mistake of all.

Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Brennan, Clapper, Ohr, Baker, and the list goes on, may try to secretly inject themselves into the action. Thinking their allies in the House can use their information without attribution, they will participate in the newly revised coup attempt. House members, thinking these bureaucrats are helpful to the case that these members cannot make intellectually, will use the information, believing it to be reliable.

When the House is forced to a vote, the Republicans will all vote no, and the Democrats will split. The few Democrats, with a sense of perspective, will realize that this doesn't end well. These few will jump from the train before it gains speed. The damage will have been done, though. The House has guaranteed a trial in the Senate.

With 300 million pairs of eyes fixated on Trump, he will be afforded the customary right to defend himself. The nation will see all the corruption, all the sedition, all the avarice, all the injustice promoted by these bureaucrats and their Democrat allies. The MSM filters will not protect the miscreants from seeing their lives displayed in all their ignominy. That noise you no longer hear is the cheering for the impeachers. The rave is over, and the hangover is coming.

So to them I say: go ahead. Make my day.

Germany: Passers-by hinder sexual harassment by an African man

The courageous intervention of passers-by prevented a sexual assault in Frank street in Dillenburg last Wednesday afternoon. Around 4: 10 p.m., the 28-year-old perpetrator approached his 56-year-old victim. The Somali-born man attacked the woman's chest, who resisted the attack. The attacker knocked her over and pushed her to the ground. Passers-by intervened and detained the 28-year-old until a Dillenburg police patrol arrived. The victim at least didn't suffer any visible injuries. According to the police, the assailant was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. A public prosecutor ordered a blood sample to be taken at the Dillenburg hospital. He was released again after his identity had been established. The police are investigating for sexual assault and harassment.

Germany: Two Africans carried 431,845 euros, 10 tablets and 140 mobile phones in their luggage.

Last Sunday, the 26th of  May 2019, customs officers checked a German coach at the Kreuzlingen motorway border crossing. This was on its way from Fulda  in Germany to Milan in Italy. There were two men from Gambia in the bus who said they were travelling alone. When the customs officers took a closer look at their luggage, it turned out that both men were carrying large amounts of cash in their suitcases in envelopes as well as around 140 mobile phones and 10 tablets. A team from the "Joint Operational Service Group Lake Constance" consisting of the Swiss Federal Customs Administration and the German Federal Police - was called in for the on-site investigations. The joint team ensured rapid access to the national search database in Germany. Many of the mobile phones were reported stolen. The two persons and their luggage were then handed over to the Thurgau Cantonal Police for further investigation. The exact money count finally resulted in a total sum of 431,845 euros.
The public prosecutor's office in Kreuzlingen has initiated a criminal investigation for serious money laundering.

Merkel refuses to outlaw Hezbollah, snubbing German Jews after kippah row

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her interior minister, Horst Seehofer, ignored an urgent plea from the country’s tiny Jewish community to outlaw the terrorist organization Hezbollah amid a shocking climate of antisemitism. When asked on Wednesday by The Jerusalem Post numerous times if the German government – in response to a demand by the nearly 100,000-member Central Council of Jews – plans to ban the Lebanese Shi’ite terrorist organization, Merkel and Seehofer refused to answer. The president of the Council, Dr. Josef Schuster, said on Monday that “a full ban of Hezbollah’s organization has already happened in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom,” adding that “Hezbollah is heavily financed by Iran, and poses, in its entirety, a threat to the entire world.” The US Embassy in Germany wrote on its Twitter feed on Monday: “Germany’s federal courts decided years ago that Hezbollah is a unified organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Symbols of Hezbollah are banned, why not the entire organization?” The undersecretary in Germany’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, Niels Annen, said shortly after the UK banned Hezbollah in March that Germany won’t designate all of Hezbollah a terrorist organization. Annen celebrated Iran’s Islamic revolution at the Tehran Embassy in February. Iran’s regime is the chief financial sponsor of Hezbollah. Seehofer and Berlin’s mayor, Michael Müller, initiated no legal action to ban Hezbollah and stop the pro-Hezbollah and pro-Iranian regime al-Qud Day rally on Saturday in downtown Berlin.Sources told the Post that US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell brings up the pressing need for Germany to outlaw all of Hezbollah in the federal republic at every meeting he attends with German officials. Berlin authorities claim they won’t prevail in court with respect to a ban of the al-Quds Day rally. The anti-Western and anti-Israel rally calls for the destruction of the Jewish state. The authorities have declined to test the law. On Saturday, Germany’s federal commissioner to combat antisemitism announced: “I can’t tell Jews to wear the kippah everywhere all the time in Germany.” Merkel told CNN on Tuesday that “There is to this day not a single synagogue, not a single daycare center for Jewish children, not a single school for Jewish children that does not need to be guarded by German policemen.” The CNN interview did not ask Merkel about her consistent refusal to prescribe all of Hezbollah as a terrorist entity.

Pompeo Expresses Concerns over Kippah Warning to Jews in Germany

An official warning to German Jews about the dangers of publicly wearing the kippah skullcap in the face of rising antisemitic attacks drew a response Friday from visiting U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The German government’s own commissioner on antisemitism Felix Klein sparked alarm earlier this month when he said he “cannot advise Jews to wear the kippah everywhere… all the time in Germany”.

Pompeo made clear his concern over the warning soon after he landed in the German capital.

“We were concerned to see Jews discouraged from wearing the yarmulke in public out of safety concerns. None of us should shrink in the face of prejudice,” he said at a press conference in Berlin.

As Breitbart News reported, attacks against Jews rose almost 10 percent in Germany in 2018, with violent acts soaring by more than 60 percent alone, crime statistics reveal.

In one prominent 2018 case, a 19-year-old Syrian man was convicted for assault after lashing out with his belt at an Israeli man wearing a Jewish kippa skullcap while shouting “yahudi”, Jew in Arabic.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Friday telephoned Jewish council president Josef Schuster over the issue and issued a statement stressing that it was the “job of the state to protect our Jewish fellow citizens and to intervene where necessary”.

America’s top diplomat is making his first visit to Germany as secretary of state at the start of a four-nation European trip in the wake of rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

Pompeo is set to meet Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Friday before continuing to Switzerland, which has long represented Washington’s interests in Tehran and has in the past been an intermediary between the two.

Arab Uber driver kicks 2 Jewish women out of car

An Uber driver in Los Angeles who said he was Palestinian kicked two Jewish women out of his car after learning they were coming from an Israel Independence Day celebration.
The incident occurred on May 19, the Los Angeles Jewish Journal reported.
The driver, named Mustafa, asked the women where they were coming from after they sat in the back seat. The women were reluctant to say, but then told the driver after he did not start the car.
Mustafa then ordered the passengers out of his vehicle.
“He started laughing and he looked us dead in the eye and he said, ‘You need to get out of my car. I’m Palestinian,'” one of the women, identified as Dayna, told the Jewish Journal. She said the driver “clearly wanted to make a statement.”
Dayna said she uses Uber daily and it was the first time she has ever been asked to leave a car.
The second woman, using the pseudonym Rachel, told the newspaper that “I could see his eyes in the wing mirror and he just spun around … his eyes were wild … raged … and that’s what frightened me.”
Dayna emailed Uber immediately and received an automatic reply.
“Sorry you had that experience,” it said. “You won’t be charged for the ride.”
Dayna told the Jewish Journal that someone at the company should have reached out to her personally, and that Uber should fire that driver.
The Jewish Journal contacted Uber, which looked into the complaint and told the newspaper that the driver was banned from the app.
“Uber does not tolerate any form of discrimination,” an Uber spokesperson’s email said. “What’s been described is horrible.”

Germany: Iraqi threatens passengers on train with knife

State and federal police officers arrested a 38-year-old man at Bietigheim-Bissingen station on Tuesday evening. The man is suspected of having previously bullied a traveller using two knives by apparently gesticulating wildly towards him without any reason. An uninvolved witness observed the incident and called the police. Later, the 38-year-old Iraqi citizen inflicted cuts on his leg and sat down in the track area. He was then admitted to a specialist clinic. The closure of the Bietigheim-Bissingen railway station between 00:03 am and 00:28 am caused disruptions to train traffic. The Federal Police is now investigating the 38-year-old man, who lives in the Ludwigsburg district, on suspicion of coercion and violation of the weapons law.

Attack on Italian Honorary Consulate in Hamburg, Germany

The German Left is running amok, even now against governments that do not want to join the German Islamophile insanity. Here is the police report on the attack in Hamburg's Eppendorf district:

At the location of the Italian honorary consulate there was an obvious politically motivated damage to property. The police are looking for witnesses. A witness noticed yesterday morning that on the back wall of an office building in which the Italian Honorary Consulate is also based, a smearing of paint had obviously been painted with a political background. The State Security Department of the State Criminal Investigation Office (LKA 7) has taken over further investigations. Please call 040/4286-56789 to the information telephone of the Hamburg police or to any police station.

Mueller’s shameful exaggeration of Russia’s election ‘interference’

By Thomas Lifson

In his presentation yesterday, former special counsel Robert Mueller acted as a propagandist, not as a disinterested public servant. One piece of evidence is his misleading presentation of Russia’s “election interference,” which he clearly exaggerated, while remaining, strictly speaking, accurate.

Writing in the Nation, a left wing magazine that is friendly to Russia, the genuine dimensions of Russia’s efforts were explained by Aaron Mate:

Posts generated by suspected Russian accounts showing up in Facebook’s News Feed amounted to “approximately 1 out of 23,000 pieces of content. (snip)
Scale: The researchers claim that “the scale of [the Russian] operation was unprecedented,” but they base that conclusion on dubious figures. They repeat the widespread claim that Russian posts “reached 126 million people on Facebook,” which is in fact a spin on Facebook’s own guess. “Our best estimate,” Facebook’s Colin Stretch testified to Congress in October 2017, “is that approximately 126 million people may have been served one of these [IRA] stories at some time during the two year period” between 2015 and 2017. According to Stretch, posts generated by suspected Russian accounts showing up in Facebook’s News Feed amounted to “approximately 1 out of 23,000 pieces of content.”
An online friend comments in an email:

This is consistent with everything I’ve seen on the subject. Mueller‘s report says The Russian disinformation campaign was systematic creating an impression of significance. But if This study is correct (and other studies I’ve seen are correct), Mueller’s report was purposely misleading… it is suspicious that [he] left it at “systematic” without going in to the amount of disinformation involved. I’m sure the studies were available to him.
But creating the impression that Russian disinformation was significant supported the widely promoted narrative that the Russians turned the election and it supported the hopes of expectations of many members of the media and many opponents of Trump.
That would make Mueller not a standup guy. I think that is consistent with the way he handled the obstruction issue and his failure to say in [yesterday] morning’s announcement that he found no evidence of collusion, and much contrary evidence. Those are things his report said. Mueller has made quite a mess of things

Despite all the huffing and puffing of those who want to blame Hillary’s loss in sinister Russian collaboration with Trump, the fact remains that “interference” in elections by foreign powers is nothing new, and the United States engages in it, too.

Barack Obama’s campaign advisors traveled to Israel to interfere in that nation’s election during his presidency, for instance. And remember that before the UK’s Brexit vote, Obama stated that if it left the EU, Britain would go the “the back of the queue” in trade negotiations with the United States, an open placing of his thumb in the scale, telling Britons that the United States would punish a Brexit vote. Obama even pronounced “queue” the way the English do (sounds like cue), and years later, “Ben Rhodes, an ex-White House adviser, admitted Mr Obama's dramatic intervention in the EU referendum campaign came at the personal request of the former prime minister.”

So, it is important to establish a realistic perspective on Russia’s interference. Mueller’s presentation selectively chose language that created the impression that Russia’s efforts were far greater than they really were. This discredits him.

Germany: Muslim trio harasses 18-year-old woman, beats up her companion, threatens to stab policemen

Last Monday, around 6:10 p.m., an 18-year-old Munich woman (German citizen) with a 27-year-old Munich man (Bosnian citizen) was in Schwanthaler street. They passed a group consisting of a 19-year-old Iranian (without permanent residence) and two 17-year-old Afghans (both resident in Munich), when the latter expressed themselves to the 18-year-old woman unpleasantly with sexual connotations. The 27-year-old Munich man turned around and approached the group. Without further warning, he was finally maltreated from the group by one of the three and then by the whole group with punches and kicks, including kicking to the head. The 18-year-old woman was also the victim of violence. The two attacked alerted Emergency 110.Shortly thereafter, the perpetrators fled, but could be arrested near the scene by rapidly arriving police forces. They put up considerable resistance to police action, assaulted the police, spat in the face of a police officer and threatened to stab him.The three attackers were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime. They were temporarily arrested. A magistrate issued a pre-trial warrant against the 19-year-old man. The two juvenile offenders were released.
The three suspects are being investigated for, among other things, dangerous assault, assault of police officers, insult and threat.

Mueller offers sly impeachment bait

By Thomas Lifson

Robert Mueller’s 11 AM statement to the media today stuck to what was in his report (which he said “speaks for itself”), but selectively highlighted and sequenced points intended to damage President Trump, providing obvious bait for impeachment proceedings. Here is one example: (transcript)

…if we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime.
YouTube screen grab

It is not the job of prosecutors to state that a suspect “clearly did not commit a crime,” only to state whether there is sufficient evidence to prosecute.
In discussion the second part of the report on obstruction he repeated the point

…if we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime.

Immediately, he followed with:

The introduction to the volume two of our report explains that decision. It explains that under long-standing department policy a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office.
This juxtaposition implies that the reals they did “not make a determination” was the policy against indicting. That is sly to the point of misleading.
No doubt Democrats will be vociferously arguing that.
He was also sly in stating that he believes AG Barr acted in “good faith” in releasing virtually all of the report, which implies that he and others disagree with Barr.
He provided a run through of the key points on the report, most of it familiar to anyone who followed the news about it.
He also took the Olympian position that this would be the last thing he has to say, which is why he would not take questions. He mentioned that if he is subpoenaed to testify to Congress, he would not say anything that was not in the report. (Do people, including former pubic employees get to reply to a question – especially a question related to their work for taxpayers -- that they refuse to reply?) This would foreclose any questions as to why he felt it was the job of a federal prosecutor to “exonerate” a person under investigation, instead of a simply black/white prosecute or not prosecute decision, as is the customary procedure.
I see this as a defensive move, perhaps to protect his good friend James Comey, as well as protect his office’s record in the face of disappointment by the Trump-haters that he provided no indictments.

Muslims attack Jewish pupil in Berlin, Germany

++ Update: On request of the police announced: The 15-year-old perpetrator has a Turkish migration background. ++
At a school in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg, a Jewish student was attacked on last Monday noon.According to initial police investigations, a 15-year-old youth entered the school grounds, asked a 17-year-old pupil of Jewish faith to come along, and then punched him in the face.Since an anti-Semitic motive could not be excluded, the State Security Police investigated the matter. This was announced by the Berlin police on Tuesday. School supervisors and school psychologists are involved.According to the newspaper Tagesspiegel, the attack was preceded by a verbal confrontation between the 17-year-old and two Muslim girls, who then called in the 15-year-old. This is supposed to be a boy who is regarded as ineducable, who used to be a pupil of the school himself. After his arrival at the school, he is said to have brought a former classmate of Arab descent, a ninth-grader, to " support" him.As a result, there was this brawl between the two and the Jewish boy, who in turn received support from a classmate.

A dangerous attack on rail traffic occurred yesterday morning on a railway line in Hagen. A suspect was arrested. Around 07:00 a.m. the Federal Police was informed about a person who had placed several objects on the tracks of the railway line Lüdenscheid - Hagen. In the area of the Jäger street in the Hagen district of Eilpe, police forces were able to arrest a 36-year-old man. He had laid several tree trunks (diameter approx. 40 cm) and a defective bicycle on the rails. The line was closed for rail traffic, so that a regional train stopped in time in front of the obstacles. The suspect, who is a Turkish citizen from Hagen, was taken to the station guard of the Federal Police. There it turned out that the man was probably suffering from a mental disorder, which is why he was later admitted to a clinic. The Federal Police initiated criminal proceedings for dangerous interference with rail traffic.

A crazy Europe asks Jews to renounce their kippah

by Giulio Meotti

A few years ago Benny Zipper, head of the cultural pages of Haaretz, the lunatic paper of the Israeli leftist intelligentsia, made a proposal: secular Jews should move to Berlin and create there an alternative base to Israel. Then it was story of the famous “Milky” pudding, which in Germany cost a third of what it cost in the Jewish State. It was the grotesque media tale of Israelis moving to Berlin for a cheaper life.
Today we no longer hear about that cheap pudding. Instead, there is much talk about a more Jewish symbol, the kippah. For the first time the high official of a European government invited the Jewish community to “disappear” and to renounce for their own safety the symbols of their faith. Felix Klein, the German official in charge of fighting against anti-Semitism, just encouraged Jews “not to carry a kippah in public” due to the wave of hostility towards them.
“Surrender of the state”, stated Michael Friedman, former vice-president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany. Israeli President Reuven Rivlin called Klein's declaration “a surrender to anti-Semitism”. But last year it was Josef Schuster, president of the Central Council of German Jews, who addressed a similar invitation: “We do not recommend showing off in public with the kippah”.
Germany, theater of the “final solution of the Jewish question”, is now asking its remnant Jews to avoid being recognized as Jews on the street. Bild, the first German newspaper, distributed the kippah to its readers in solidarity with the Jewish community. On the Jewish side there were voices of shock at Klein's words. Berlin rabbi Yehuda Teichtal called on the Jews to carry the kippah on their heads with pride.
Only a crazy Europe could ask its Jews to renounce their millennial symbols. German Nazis humiliated the Jews on the streets, cutting their beards and tallit of prayer. Is this the future?
But the question is another one: from the Swedish city of Malmö to the Belgian capital Brussels, from the French Seine-Saint-Denis to the heart of Berlin, the Jewish symbols are rapidly disappearing due to Islamist attacks and old hate. How can Europe's Jews continue to live there and raise their children in such a hostile atmosphere?
I am now going against my own instincts, since I would like to live in a Europe where Jews are integral part of the atmosphere. But it is probably time for closing the gates of the Diaspora and returning to Eretz Yisrael, where Jews can wear kippahs, speak Hebrew on the buses and build families in a society which it will protect itself against all the enemies of the Jewish people.
One day, Jews will have to be protected again from the old European demons.

When it comes to the Muslim Brotherhood, there's no such thing as a 'moderate'

Religious leaders and thinkers frequently portray themselves as being beyond politics, with obligations only to the truth as they see it. Often, Western media figures eagerly accept this narrative when it suits them, particularly when the religious figure in question makes a convenient rebuttal to political views those media figures dislike. Such is the case with Tariq Ramadan, the Swiss-born Muslim thinker and Oxford academic, who was widely held up as an influential religious moderate before his 2017 arrest for rape.

Perhaps it is this image of sage disinterestedness that makes it all the more shocking when a prominent religious voice is found to be on someone's payroll. But with Ramadan, it should come as less of a surprise. The grandson of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ramadan has long been accused of a pro-Brotherhood agenda by researchers and anti-Brotherhood activists. Now new research has revealed that Ramadan was being lavishly funded by Qatar, the Brotherhood's chief patron. Qatar's powerful state-development organization, the Qatar Foundation, was paying Ramadan for "consulting" to the tune of 35,000 euros a month.

The latest scandal implicating the Islamist ideologue was revealed by a new book, Qatar Papers, by French investigative journalists Georges Malbrunot and Christian Chesnot. Based on extensive bank records the authors received on a USB stick from a whistleblower, the book revealed that Ramadan was on the payroll of the Qatari regime for years. Qatari money would fund his purchase of two swanky apartments in Paris, among other things.

Ramadan's ties to Qatar are extensive: he was visiting professor at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Doha and director of the Qatar Foundation–backed Research Centre for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) in Doha, Qatar. He was also president of the pro-Qatari think-tank the European Muslim Network (EMN) in Brussels. Furthermore, Ramadan was a member of the Qatari-funded and Muslim Brotherhood–run International Union of Muslim Scholars, which until recently was headed by the Muslim Brotherhood's "spiritual leader," Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Qatar continued to back Ramadan even after the first series of allegations were made against him, starting in October 2017. (More accusers have emerged on a regular basis since then.) Ramadan's Islamist defenders indignantly pointed to his many videos about the importance of sexual modesty and morals and claimed that he was being falsely persecuted out of "Islamophobia." But in February 2018, Ramadan was formally charged with rape by French officials, at which point Qatar loudly declared him persona non grata. His public relationship with the Qatar Foundation ended at this point, yet he subsequently received 19,000 Euros from the Qatari-funded Swiss Muslim League to help with his defense. (The Swiss Muslim League is operated by two Muslim Brotherhood members, Naceur Ghomrachi and Mansour Ben Yahya.)

But Qatar's relationship with Ramadan is only a small detail in a larger story. Qatar Papers also revealed the deep involvement of the Qatari regime with the Islamist network in Europe. Much of this was done by Qatar Charity, a regime-linked organization that has been accused of funneling billions of dollars to Islamist insurgent groups in Syria, Libya, and elsewhere. In Europe, Qatar Papers showed, Qatar Charity provided some 71 million euro to fund the construction of 140 mosques, Islamic centers, and Islamic museums.

In an interview, author George Malbrunot said, "The Muslim Brotherhood philosophy is to encompass people's lives from birth to death. All of the Qatar-financed projects tried to do just that, surrounding mosques with schools, swimming pools, restaurants, and even morgues." According to Malbrunot, that goal explains the huge spending on European projects, meant to propagate Muslim-Brotherhood Islamism — to the extent of funding a mosque on the tiny Isle of Jersey (which has few Muslims) to facilitate proselytizing.

According to Malbrunot, while the operators of these projects deny any affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood, the libraries at these schools and centers are filled with Islamist literature written by the likes of radical cleric Yusuf Al Qardawi (one of Tariq Ramadan's mentors) and the terror-justifying thinker Sayyid Qutb, a founding ideologue of 20th-century Islamism.

Qatar's opulent sponsorship of Tariq Ramadan's career served a dual purpose — at once spreading Brotherhood ideology among the Muslim youth of Europe and presenting a soothing message of moderation to Western observers. This same two-pronged approach is at work in the many mosques, professorships, and libraries that Qatari money funds across Europe. Qatar would loudly deny that its aim is radicalization, but such denials are hard to square with the extremist literature that Qatari institutions promulgate. We may find that sexual assault is not the worst crime that Qatari money made possible.

The Nigel Farage Show: 28th May 2019

Islamist party receives 35.71 percent of the votes in the European elections in the German metropolis Duisburg and becomes by far the strongest party!

The test was successful, even if this is only a small part of the town. In the voting district 1001 of Duisburg-Marxloh, where many Muslims are at home, the Islamic party BIG receives the most votes in this European election with 35.71 percent - and this by a large distance to the other parties:

Of course, the media are not interested in this at all, after all, all of Germany is in the ecstasy of the Green election victories, so the news that Germany is being Islamised ever more frequently would only unsettle the voters who are obsessed with the issue of alleged global warming.

In statements the BIG appears to be modern, in some parts its election programme even reminds of the election programme of the Greens, but the party is the new political arm of the Muslims in Germany and will probably gain more and more influence in the near future.

Only consolation. In the north of Duisburg, which is strongly marked by migration, the AfD achieved more than 20 percent in some areas.

Society is becoming increasingly divided.

Tokyo crowd chants ‘We love Trump’ as motorcade passes

You won’t be seeing this on the mainstream media TV channels. As President Trump’s motorcade traveled through central Tokyo – it looks to me as though he was on his way to the Imperial Palace for the state dinner with the Emperor and Empress, chants of “We love Trump! We love Trump!” can be heard from bystanders.
This does not appear to be a parade-style motorcade, for the sidewalks are not jammed with people, but rather people who, perhaps aware of the likely motorcade route – or perhaps noting the extensive police presence – paused to express their feelings toward the American leaders who had earlier delighted then nation with his attendance at the grand sumo tournament and presentation of the “President’s cup” to winner Asanoyama.
Prime Minister Abe and a sizable segment of the public understand how much Japan needs American support and protection in the face of North Korean nukes and China’s military and economic expansion, and its desire to dominate a Chinese version of a twentieth century version of the Greater East Asian Co-prosperity Sphere. President Trump is very public with his expectation that Japan will offer in return trade, investment, regional security, and military support. He is doing this with a smile, mostly, and managed a visit that improved America’s standing with the Japanese public.
