Germany: Moroccan beats up a female traveller at Cologne central station

This Tuesday morning, a 20-year-old man attacked a previously unknown female traveller in Cologne. The thug could be detained by employees of the German Railways and arrested by the federal police. The federal police are now looking for the injured person, who was presumably in shock and has left the scene of the crime. Shortly after 07:00 am a man attacked a woman on the stairs to platform 8/9. The Moroccan then followed the passenger to the platform and tried to beat them again. Employees of Deutsche Bahn AG observed the incident and detained the aggressive suspect. The alarmed patrol of the federal police arrested the man for the time being. A video recording confirmed the assault against the unknown traveller. The Federal Police is now looking for the victim who was attacked by the 20-year-old and urgently asks to contact the Federal Police by calling the toll-free service number 0800/ 6 888 000 or any other police station.Furthermore, the federal police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the assault. The injured person has blond hair and wore an updo at the time of the crime. She is presumably 35-40 years old, wore a grey short coat, a neck scarf and glasses. She also had a shoulder bag with her. The federal police initiated an investigation for bodily injury. The " thug " was released after conclusion of the criminal procedure measures due to missing detention reasons again. The crime was denied despite the video recording.
